Back on form. We haven't been for a long while since the refurb because at the time they had gone downhill a bit. I'm well impressed with the standard of the food now. Mixed grill, lamb chops, Ceylon curry, all excellent. I may have been ambitious with the heat though. My mouth is on fire and I'm sweating. Very enjoyable, will certainly come back. Now for the bill...

If you are going to the Nottingham Arena and looking for somewhere good to eat, you will not be disappointed with this restaurant.
The pickle tray was normal, nothing special, but all nice and fresh and the poppadoms

Been going here for 10+ years! Food is great as always but please, please sort your lighting out! Bright white LED lights is like having your meal in an operating theatre! You feel like your about to be abducted by aliens it's so bright. Something changed a few years ago with the lighting and now we won't eat there as the ambience is ruined. Sounds dramatic but it need to improve their lighting situation.

Without a doubt one of the best Indians I've ever had. Biryani rice - superb. Aloo Ki Bujia - superb. Lamb Seekh Kebab - superb. All with some real heat to them. Quick, friendly delivery. Excellent

Went for a work Xmas dinner at £25 per head, drinks not included, but we took our own booze! Restaurant quiet on a midweek chilly Wednesday evening but food delicious...lamb so tender and a very tasty pilau rice with chickpeas! Will be back!

Just took my husband for a meal and desi down town and was pleasantly surprised! We ordered a tower for 2 absolutely beautiful, lamb chops being the star of the plate.. CREDIT TO THE CHEF! atmosphere was nice not to busy or loud or sitting on top of each other.
Staff seemed nice welcomed us with a salaam and was overall polite . although I would say could do with a little more attentiveness to customers as we had to wait a while to get someones attention for sauces which we ended up going to the front counter for mid meal.
FOOD FANTASTIC.. !!
