Checkers

This is the Checkers that turned me onto Checkers. Service is always quick and the staff is always friendly, even if there is a long line. Prices are great, food is solid, usually there is some kind of deal going on. Definitely my pick for fast food in this area of Edgefield Road/North Augusta and has turned me on to stopping to grab a bite at other areas.

On March 3rd, 2022, my deaf partner and I were refused service. As a hearing person, I couldn't even understand what was being spoken through the drive thru speaker. What's the difference between driving up to the window, which is close to the walk up window to order as it's the same concept ? Given that we were the only people in line I feel the treatment we received was uncalled for. The tone and attitude of the employee made for a very unpleasant experience, not so much so that we could not order at the drive through window. Please teach your employees patience, and about people with extra needs. We all deserve to enjoy food and have the experience of going out to eat, and being able to do it as quickly as everyone else. If you are the employee reading this, all is forgiven, but please let this be a learning experience and example of how our actions affect others in a very negative way.

Went there late last night 6/24/22.... Very surprised worst experience. Been going there on and off because it is a bit and a miss work the attitudes. But when my husband and I ordered and pulled up the cashier (Tezz) was very very rude to the worker. Yelling at him with the drive thru window open Not very professional. If they had negative stars that's what they would have gotten

Terrible experience ordered 2 deep sea doubles and 2 banana shakes and fries. The fish was so hard on the edges and the shakes tasted like a bag of sugar, one of the shakes had some red stuff on the top of it and when we asked what it was, the worker replied it’s strawberries well I didn’t order strawberry, the least she could have done was take it back and give me another one. I will not go back.
