My first time having Ethiopian food. Went with a party of 6. We all really enjoyed our meals! Had the fried pickles as an app and they were awesome! Bartender/Waitress was very nice and helpful. I'd definitely return. Hidden gem!

Up until I found Almaz Cafe going to the city was a requirement for Ethiopian food. No longer! Everything I've had here has been delicious and the owners are very friendly. There are other non-Ethiopian choices, but seriously that is what you should come here for. The actual location is less than inspiring, and the music can be loud (which if asked kindly might be able to be adjusted). Over all though, I will keep going back.

At first it was a nice eatery then boom night club it should be call Almaz Supper Club if you want to miss that crowd go during the day nice food & drinks. If you want to put on your dancing shoes go at night on a weekend

Love this place! Friendly bartenders mature atmosphere and good price drinks. The food is great too I go here every chance I get!

The food was amazing! The owner is a chef, and quite personable.
The Tilapia was sautéed, moist and juicy, seasoned to perfection and served on a bed of rice with broccoli. The Mussels were highly recommended, by a friend, and were tender and delicious as well. Also had fried colossal shrimp, also delicious. Reasonably priced, Happy Hour Specials Monday thru Friday 5-7, downtown Norristown, just up from the courthouse. Pleasant crowd at the bar. My first time there, and it has already replaced some of my favorite eateries:-) I will be a regular :-)
