Magic Noodle

We have been meaning to try this for awhile and finally made it in! The place was packed and we got the last table available! Despite being full, it was still relatively quiet and the atmosphere was great! It was really neat to be able to watch them make the noodles by hand. They made the noodles using the same process I saw during my time in Guangzhou, China! The steamed and fried dumplings/potstickers (jiaozi) were amazing as appetizers! Additionally, the hybrid bao type Rou Jia Mo (Chinese hamburger) was absolutely fantastic! It was the best I have found in the states after basically surviving on them during my time in Guangzhou! My wife and I have found our new local "go-to" Chinese restaurant! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

Went here with a group of friends and we got a ton of stuff and everything was absolutely delicious, I didn't personally enjoy the japanes style ramen as much as I would have thought I would but the noodles were great, and the pork, and egg were also perfect, the broth was alittle weird to me but it tasted like it was a preference type so I can imagine some people love it but I personally didn't. The gyoza was beautiful and the soup dumplings tasted amazing some of them could have used more soup but overall extremely good, the beef Burge was amazing especially in the dip provided with the soup dumplings, fried pork bao was crispy and cooked to perfection you can really tell this place has perfected its craft, shrimp dumplings were great I think the shrimp needed to be pat dry because they were pretty watery inside but still really good. I fidnt try the beef roll but my friends said it was amazing. Also loved the peanuts they provide as a waiting snack.

It was my first time there, the owners were very kind and the service was amazing! I had Lanzhou beef noodles, my friend had Japanese ramen, and then we shared some soup dumplings and pork bao. It was all really delicious! We will definitely be coming back again. Also, them making the noodles right in front of you was really cool.

The noodles and broth are definitely magical!!! Love all of the noodle dishes, you can't go wrong with either choice... The sides were just okay, I went for the soup dumplings and was unfortunately let down in that department... but, made up for it with the noodles and eggrolls... The cold side dishes were just okay... The hot oil had good flavor... The menu is short and sweet... It's a nice place located deep in Norman, convenient for anyone near the OU campus... The price was reasonable...The customer service was excellent!!!
