Me and my husband came today to check Play Book. We heard from our friends that the food and service is amazing. I will be honest with you all.... the place is outstanding, not only the bar is spotless, the food is amazing but service is impeccable, Mario was the gentleman who looked after us, not only he recommended our food but he manage entertain us , talk to us and make us laugh. Please if you are in the area , you need stop at Play Book.

My first time stopping in Niles Illinois and the best customer service Christina was my server and David recommend it chicken by the book it was delicious 😊

I changed my rating to a 3 star because I visited and the hostess / waitress was rude there was nobody sitting at a both she said they are reserved for 8:30 we were there at 6pm we could have been sitter there and had plenty of time. I thought that was very rude!!! Also the service was very slow but the food was good!!!!

They definitely need to get an upgrade on all of their TV sets! We recently watch a world cup qualifier here and the quality was abysmal! You would think a sports bar would have great TV all the way around and not standard definition, glitcy connections and a 45 inch big screen TV. Not coming here for any more sporting events until they decide to get an upgrade that not from the early 2000s. Also, food was just alright and pretty basic. Straight out of the freezer and into the microwave.

Decent tap list (basically all IPAs though). I got the Kung-fu shrimp wrap which was really good. Only gets docked a star because of how unbearably loud the place was at 10:30 on a Thursday night - couldn't hear anything.
