Lovely food, good choice of wines and although staff were young, they were pleasant and accommodating. Dogs were made very welcome too. What a shame that due to energy price increases it is forcing the owner to sell up.

Good warm ambience and delicious food. Excellent menu with interesting range of choices. I had hake in the most delicious leek,bacon and pea sauce, our companion had lamb shank perfectly cooked. Delightful and helpful waitresses. Thoroughly recommended

Quiet (certainly when we went on a Saturday eve) more upper class bar in Newport. Would have been a higher eating if there had been more of an atmosphere but will try again.
