Week I have to say I never knew this pub existed and was taken the my manager of Newcastle Brew Shop and his wife. We had a small team meeting then we tucked in to some tucker. Well once again I very impressed with the food at this great venue. I also noted that there are some excellent beers I could definitely go there for a session of beer, food, and a punt on the horses. I would call this a good day out. To all the staff at The Bennett Hotel keep up the good work and the service you should be proud of your staff.

The guys have done really well turning this place around. Was super busy and quite a wait for food ….. but the Kimchi chicken burger was one of the best burgers I have EVER had. Even gave us a free round of drinks because the food took longer than expected. Excellent range of beers on tap. Will definitely be back.

Thursday afternoon was a great time for a quiet drink outside. Really lovely with hearing & covers. By dinner time it was hopping with a free fun raffle that patrons spun the wheel. The restaurant was busy. We didn't eat, but the food looked good.

Great cocktails...we where setting on the park side amazing stuff and service if ever in Charleston u must visit this place...for the full service hotel or just for drink or brunch

I think this might be the best gnocchi I have ever had, and my husband is thoroughly enjoying his lamb. A stunning meal!
It's years since we've visited Newcastle, and we came back here for old times sake as my aunt used to live across the road. What a treat it turned out to be. Friendly staff, great new lay out, and did I mention the fabulous food?

Great local. Worth a visit. Good rotating selection of craft beer. And they do pints!
Good is good for both pub classics and fancy food for the in-laws.

Great pub, good drink selection and prices and nice vibe overall. Tuesday trivia is great. However the food needs a lot of work. Very small servings and the meals are a bit bland, could use an overhaul.

We hosted our event in the Gazebo area at The Bennett and the experience working with the team in the lead up to, and during the event was exceptional. The flexibility of staff, quality of service and communication, and the delicious food was second to none. Will definitely be back! Thank you Ross & team.
