Olde Trading Post

I planned two events to take place in March and had to cancel because of the pandemic. Olde Trading Post refunded the nonrefundable deposit for both events without question. While planning the events, Breda was great and answered all our questions in a timely manner. We've gotten takeout twice since quarantine started. For brunch we got banana french toast and the smoked salmon platter. For dinner, we ordered garlic parmesan wings and potato skins. Everything was delicious. We'll definitely continue to support Olde Trading Post.

A great outdoor dining experience. They have plenty of space in their fenced in courtyard to handle the reopening protocols correctly. The nachos are a must for starters. They had a nice selection of sandwiches as well as several choices of full entrees. The roast beef melt with shaved roast beef, cheddar sauteed mushrooms and onions was very good. The Grilled Chicken BLT with crispy bacon and guacamole hit the spot. The service was quick and always attentive and everyone in our group said they will be back.

Looking for a fun night out? Come on down to the Olde Trading Post! The bar draws a crowd as does the two dining rooms. And when the band strolls in more folks hustle in to dance, so it fast becomes a hot time at the Olde Trading Post tonight! Televisions display sporting events so if you aren't into the music you can catch your favorite game. And some just come for the food. Luckily, it is all good as comfort food favorites abound. Their burgers, sandwiches, and wraps are delicious. Their entrees are tasty too! We brought a crowd of 20, so we worked a package out ahead of time for passed appetizers and drinks. It was well worth it. Food wise we enjoyed Swedish Meatballs, Chicken Quesadilla, Cheese Pizza, Risotto Balls, Mini Burger Sliders and BBQ Chicken on Skewers. We reserved the tables in the front, so we had an up-close view of the band too. Our family has also had a luncheon here in the back dining room. There is a second bar there, so your guests are attended to without delay. If at night, you are far enough from the music to hold your event without being unable to chat comfortably. They do a great job here in food preparations, attending to your requests and bringing in quality entertainment! During the warmer months, they open the outdoor dining area which is landscaped nicely and inviting. May we enjoy for another 100 years, coming to this historic tavern on Jericho Turnpike.

Wonderful Irish bar with great music and dancing! Couldn't believe it when I walked in, felt like I was in the old country. Tons of tap beers is where they shine. Don't go here looking for a good wine selection. Yet beer fun and laughter will ensue upon entry! Didn't get to eat, but I will and update as soon as possible. I will definitely go back. We had burgers and fries in the back room. Food and service were pretty good. If you like singing, dancing, etc they have live bands playing the weekend nights. Beer on tap was a bit expensive. $7 for a blue moon tap. They have a board advertising all the beer specials but didn't realize the fine print you have to get those at the bar only.

Went on Taco and Trivia Tuesday. Seemed like a nice crowd. We didn't have the taco special but many others did and it looked great! We didn't partake in the Trivia either but we plan on going back and will join in then. My veggie burger was excellent and my honey enjoyed his burger. Service was a little slow but very pleasant. I would recommend.
