Mr. Big Fish

Our waitress was awesome! Kind, accommodating, and attentive. The food was amazing as well. The fresh bread? To die for. We got the buttered haddock, fish and chips, and shrimp Oscar. Everyone finished their meals. I had the fish and chips, the fish was fresh and creamy, the batter crispy, and the portion huge! Will definitely be back.

I go for happy hour a few times a year when I'm in Naples. Been there twice in the last couple weeks and it's still a wonderful experience every single time I visit. I get several apps and a couple drinks between my father and I, and they hit a home run every time. The staff is honestly the friendliest group I've encountered around here. It's a highly recommended, genuinely good place.

We had a great experience at Mr. Big Fish in Naples. My coworker recommended this place in the plaza. The ambiance is dark, but it has a nice bar. We were served by the witty and delightful Krissy. She encouraged us to have the black cod, which is not always on the menu. The beer selection was stellar, and we beat the rush by eating around 6 pm. We had the caramel cheesecake for dessert and it was tasty and not too sweet. The chowder and slaw were fantastic, along with the fresh cod.

I ordered crab cakes to go; they were amazing! Some of the best I’ve had. The Cole slaw was really good too. The staff was super friendly and offered me a glass of wine while I waited. They were very busy the night I went but they waited on me quickly and with a smile 10 out of 10 recommend and great value for the money Note: They no longer have the friend green tomatoes. We Have been coming here for years and it is our favorite restaurant in Naples. The food is fresh and prepared perfectly! A nice crisp salad is included with every meal and also 2 side dishes! You can’t go wrong with any choice. The bread is fresh, hot and has a crisp crust. We love the host staff and the servers! This wonderful place does not disappoint! Try it and love it too!

I am not a fan of this restaurant but I could see how certain people may enjoy it. I started my neal with a lobster bisque. The soup was very creamy and flavorful. I ordered a parmesan crusted grouper. While flaky the fish had no flavor. It was disappointing but I finished nonetheless. I order sweet potatoes, which were good not great. They got cold extremely quickly and lost their crisp. My other side was cauliflower mash. This was an interesting side but nothing to write home about. I also tried the fish and chips. This was much better than the grouper. This was actually seasoned unlike the grouper. If you order this you must eat the fish quickly otherwise the fish will get mushy. This restaurant would appeal to people who enioy plain food with out too many seasonings and condiments.
