Sub & Salad

I came here for an early lunch today. As soon as I walked in I could smell I was going to like this place. I can't wait to come back. So many items on the menu looked great. I figured I'd start with the basics so I ordered the Italian trio which is a basic Italian cold sandwich. It was great. Good portion of meat and cheese and tasted fresh. Soft bun was good but I was hoping for crunchy crust. All in all great service, clean inviting atmosphere and tons to choose from.

Jeff and crew are sandwich wizards. Make sure you go for breakfast on Saturday morning when the farmers market is on. Just had an Italian sausage, egg and cheese with avocado. Every bite was perfectly proportioned. They take the time to make sure stuff is even. Truly care about making a GREAT sandwich. Yes, there can be a better plain old sandwich.

I have to agree with the reviews that say this isn’t an authentic Italian deli. The sandwiches are 90 percent bread no meat, the food just doesn’t have that homemade flavor. If you have ever been to or lived in New York you will know what I mean. It’s average at best. This is a “Tennessee Italian” deli if you get what I’m saying.

If your looking for that amazing satisfaction from a craving and they have it here, you won’t be disappointed. BLT’s have always been a comfort food, and their BLT with Sourdough, provolone and I even added avocado to it was amazing, EVERYTIME. I ve heard of people having a favorite Italian Deli before and I just never had before finding these guys!
