Subway

My wife went this particular Subway with a Groupon. I texted her in advance, saying what I wanted, to include a footlong meatball sub. When she arrived home, she informed me that in order to make the sub a footlong rather than a 6” (which is what the Groupon prepaid for) was an extra SIX DOLLARS. How is that even possible? This Subway cheats people and should be ashamed.

I don't know why I would expect something special there, but the meatball sandwich I ordered there on special was just horrible. Why would anybody buy sandwiches at Subway is beyond me since you can easily prepare much better ones at home, at a fraction of the cost. I guess its the laziness of an average American and the convenience as well as persistent marketing and abundance of this chain. They offer a customer satisfaction survey that gives you a free drink or cookie after you complete it. No, thank you so much for the offer. Yet I decided to take the survey to complain about this terrible sandwich with the usual sticky bun (always the case with their bread even toasted) and at this location: tasteless meat and a marinara sauce that does't even taste like tomatoes. I got a reply from the owner that he will take action as far as the quality of the food but didn't even offer to replace it. Go figure.
