Mcdonald's

The alleged manager of the store this morning at approximately 9am left my wife in tears due to her toxic rhetoric, belittling attitude and all around dismissive tone. The absolute disrespect my wife had to deal with is a true testament to why fast food workers do not deserve 15.00 an hour. I manage well over 100 employees at my current job and should a situation happen where one of my staff members treated a customer like that they would be required to go through mandatory training to correct the disgusting demeanor that they represented my business with. If it was a pattern of behavior they would be dismissed. Shame on this manager, and shame on McDonald’s for tolerating such behavior. No matter how good the salty fries are we will never go back to any of their establishments.

McDonald’s is usually one of my favorite fast food places to go. On this specific day I was not impressed. While at work I decided I would go across the street to McDonalds and get ice cream. I was surprised to see that there was almost no other cars besides the employees, so the drive through was empty. With this said, you would believe that the service would be quick, and it was. The problem was not the delivery. The problem was my diarrhea looking ice cream. The ice cream itself was melted like it had been sitting out for at least ten minutes. Now, as a person who isn’t picky, I’m fine with melted ice cream, but I can not accept ice cream with fudge that looks like someone has missed the toilet bowl. Very distasteful of them. Mind you, the pictures are of uneaten ice cream and that is how I got it. Diarrhea ice cream cup is a no go.

I went in to order and all their attention was on the drive thru. No one was at the counter so I ordered from a kiask which didn't tell me that part of what I wanted was unavailable. I have no idea if I ended up paying for it or not. Hey, it's a McDonalds. I don't expect much but I'm more likely to go somewhere else next time.
