Steak 'n Shake

I was so disgusted today at this Morrow, GA location. My friend and I decided to go inside and dine in. As I was given my order I went to get my beverage and the entire machine was FILTHY, it appears that it had not been CLEANED for quite some time. Looked like MOLD!!!😡 I asked for the manager and a young woman came to the counter, I asked her to come around and look at the beverage machine...she looks and says I'll have someone clean it up! I decided to go with the tea after that. My friend and I ate our food (fries NOT fresh!) and no one ever came out to clean the machine! I'd venture to guess they never will! The Sad thing is another customer pointed out they have a 100A score from the Health Department. Very concerning, interesting & scary!!!😳 I'd be careful eating there, chances ate other areas are also neglected . I for sure won't be going back to that location

DO NOT PLACE A CURBSIDE PICK-UP ORDER!!! I placed my order on the Steak n Shake app and waited over 30 minutes only to be told by the so called cook/manager that my order just come across his screen 5 minutes. Which I know was a bold face lie. I will have to stop doing business at this location. If you see my picture a shared of the grill says it all.

This store’s food is always fresh. If you don’t mind waiting for food as you normally would wait for something to cook, then this is the place for you. It’s not typical fast food. It takes a little longer but the food is real ingredients, not greasy or loaded down with condiments. I enjoy it every time we go there.

The inside was closed off as the team was preparing for a catering event. This was a bit of a bummer bc we were on a road trip and wanted to use the restrooms on our stop. Upon going through the drive through they not only nailed our order, were very efficient, prompt and friendly but upon requesting to use said restrooms they very willingly let us use the facilities. Couldn't have asked for a better transaction. Decent burger and shake too!

I've been wanting to go here for years but this experience wasn't what I thought. With dine in, nobody comes to take your order or even brings you your food or drink. While waiting on our food, a few peoples orders weren't even filled. The food was amazing though. I recommend just going through the drive thru if you go here but even the lines are long for that.

Look I'm not a big fan of taking jobs from people that needs the jobs, however I get that with recent situations that business have to evolve to continue to stay open. The problem is you forget about the small stuff that make people wanting to come back to you. At Steak and Shake they have replaced waitresses and waiters with kiosks that you order your food from. Which I get it as McDonald's been doing it for years in certain cities. However my problem with Steak and Shake at this location is once you order your food and take a seat there's no clean seats or tables. I legit had to go in the restroom and get several paper towels and put soap on it. Scrub the table for me and party to sit down. Not just me but several customers had to. The small stuff. This location really need to do better and still give their customers a clean place to enjoy their food.
