Lobster roll was delicious and a must have for anyone in the area. Best crab cakes around as well. Place is always busy with regulars ordering fresh fish to cook at home. Establishment was well kept, decorated nice, clean, while fish appeared fresh and properly chilled. They seem to also carry some exotic items. Whether it's for a nice hot seafood meal or ingredients to cook one at home Monroe Fish Market is your place.

I love this fish market and shop here regularly. The fish and prepared foods on ice are delicious! The man who works here is very friendly too!
I was not happy with my lobster roll.. little bits of lobster and way too much garlic! Ended up throwing it out and couldn’t eat it.

First time here, I ordered a hot lobster roll that came with fries and an order of fried shrimp... delicious! Everything was so fresh! The lobster meat was bathed in a tasty butter, the fries golden to perfection and huge gulf shrimp! The batter used for the shrimp was great, not too heavy, tasty and buttery as well. Prices were really decent! Can't wait to order again, told all my coworkers about this place.

We try to go every week to buy our fish from this market. Fish is super fresh and prices are reasonable.
We love buying the stuffed mushrooms & clams.
We buy the fresh shrimp and it is always great !
