Hyvee

Wish I would have got the young mans name tonight but I was using the self checkout around 8:30 tonight. He went above and beyond to help me and to make sure I was happy as a customer. There’s a lot of young kids that don’t get the credit they deserve and he did a wonderful job. Again I wish I got his name but hopefully you can narrow it down by the time. He was looking over the self chekckouts. Thanks again!!

My 5 year old had her choice of anywhere in the Quad Cities to eat breakfast, and she chose Hy-Vee! She loves the pancakes and cinnamon roll! My biscuits and gravy were delicious, and my husband loved the country harvest skillet! The prices were pretty affordable, and our server, Kiersten, was very friendly and attentive!

This store is doing events on Thursday evenings which are a blast. The events bring in a TON of people and revenue. Eat before you go! Had issues 3 weeks ago and wrote into the Contact Us section of website. Had conversation with the store manager and truly hoped the dismal service had been taken care of. Then comes tonight-ordered pizza for the kids and the Thursday night steak dinner. They did not give numbers for food that was ordered. They had Ashley wandering around the dining room with plates trying to figure out where orders went and presenting a plate of food to multiple tables before finding out where it went-GROSS. I don't want to eat anything that has been in front of multiple people. Also had hot steak juice spilled down my leg and into my shoe. 30 minutes past ordering went to counter to inquire where my dinner was-was told that they were really busy and it was coming, meanwhile several people who ordered after me were eating their food. Then spoke to a young woman who is the 2nd Assistant manager-more excuses. At the hour mark-several people who had come in after us were done eating and Ashley still wandering around trying to figure out where plates of food went. I went back to the deli counter to find they had thrown my order form away and I had not received my food. I went back to the service desk and asked when the store manager would be in so I could speak with them again in person. She called Dane who is the Operations manager up and I explained the situation. They refunded my purchase and I ended up eating a cold sandwich again from the premade case. At which point he went into the dining area, spoke with several people and ended up giving out cards for free meals next week-many people were not happy about the food service and the disorganized staff. I really look forward to these events and enjoying a dinner out with my family and friends but doubt we will be utilizing the free dinner card and will just stick with drinks.

Hyvees Prime parking lot spaces.. I am surprised the Hyvee managers continue to ignore the poor customer parking experiences by repurposing prime parking lot spaces for their seasonal and curb side offerings. I am not asking for a prime parking spot. I am asking for Hyvee to take the time to understand the traffic patterns, gather average distance to enter the store and risk of harm to person or property by using this parking lot. I am a person who chooses the farthest space to get some exercise, and not get a door ding. You crossed my line when the logic starting at entering your lot, to driving the correct direction down a lane. I want to park, so I am able safely fill my trunk with a cart full of groceries. Finally, I want to exit my parking space with good visibility and a standard turning radius. Parking close to your story entry points, Hyvee may find the traffic patterns can cause a poor customer experience.

These guys must be the Highend of grocery the way they price their store brands as if they're as good or better than the name brands lol. I don't go here unless I've forgotten something at another store and don't feel like traveling back. Everything is two dollars more than anywhere else. Geesh. Better get that fuel savers card so you can save something!!

HyVee floral did the flowers for my September wedding and they were AMAZING!! Christopher Crow is the No. 1 florist in the QC! I went to him with a very bare-bones idea of what I wanted, and he worked with me, offered ideas, talked with me and got a sense of my style. Not only were his flowers GORGEOUS, but he worked with my budget, was extremely organized and made this a very stress-free experience. I highly recommend HyVee's floral department.
