My Burger

Lunchtime and perhaps a little expensive for lunch. $18 for burger and fries and a drink. Fortunately, my friend had a BOGO coupon and that helped quite a lot. I chose the "Burger of the Month" which they called the "Big Kahuna" and came with swiss cheese and grilled pineapple and a slice of SPAM. Because why not? It was quite tasty and I enjoyed it a lot. The fries are excellent. Great to sit at the stools facing the kitchen and see the cooking in progress. Very clean and efficient. Other than the cost, this was a great meal.

Man, there was some glitch with online ordering on my usual order, which has never happened before. There is no trace of the ticket in the kitchen but a full receipt on my phone, at fault of the ordering platform, I assume. The person helping me was dumbfounded but still got it made. And the only thing on my mind is how damn good this burger is. When the food is this good, you simply can not have any complaints. Seriously good quick eats, everything that fast food is not. Very consistent quality and service among each location, this chains basically unheard of outside of the metro but at their scale they are doing everything right. I'd compare this to something like the original mcdonalds before going national and lowering their quality. Authentic food that is streamlined to be good. Rotating burger of the month and shakes with relevant local themes, it's like they belong here. Also they have beer. Cajun seasoning packs kind of a punch but you can't stop eating it, salty spicy goodness.

Phenomenal burger! It's like I died and went to burger heaven! I went in with minimal expectations and I was completely blown away! I can't remember the last time I had a burger as good as this one. Fresh made, fresh ingredients, 1000% flavour! Onion rings were cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly. If you haven't eaten here before, you owe it to your tastebuds to have one of their burgers.
