Final Approach

The fries are fluffy and fresh, however, they could use seasoning. The cheese curds I would rank a 10 due to the crisp and flavor, pairs perfect with their ranch. The Alfredo is creamy and delectable, topped off with cheese and parsley. We also had the mozzarella marinara, not pictured. They were layered with three cheeses, the inner most was pepper jack, pairs great with their marinera sauce or ranch. My only issue was that I ordered chicken and rice soup but I was given what tasted like chicken noodle soup, plus the chicken was dry.

I haven’t been to Final Approach in many many many years. So going was a delight! It still has the same neighborhood restaurant feel. The service was phenomenal. The food was good. We had the French onion soup, Cobb salad and steak salad. The soup was soooo fulfilling that I almost couldn’t finish my salad. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. I was so surprised at the continuous flow of customers. Keep up the great work!

Sam our waitress was the sweetest! Attentive but not to over bearing. Food was delicious came out hot and fries were super fresh. I wasn’t expecting my sandwich to be as big as it was, for the price you can not beat it!!! Will be coming again soon! I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich and my husband got the Asian chicken wrap.

Service was a little slow because they were short staffed. Be patient. Beer battered cod fish fry was good. We initially ordered AYCE but didn't end up getting more, so I asked if we could get the lower price but was told no because you get more pieces to start with it. My son and I realized that his AYCE was given to me and not him once we got home. It's one piece more, so unless you have a huge appetite, the regular order should be fine. The potato pancakes are a bit gummy, but the fries are good, so I recommend those. Coconut shrimp with mango dipping sauce was okay as well. My soup was forgotten about, so I got it to go.

We flew into Milwaukee last September and were looking for a place to have dinner. We were about to eat at a Denny's when I looked up and saw an airplane on top of a building up the street. We decided to eat there since it was a local place and thank goodness--it saved us from a dinner at Denny's. Great food and service. Even we went in at closing time, they welcomed and served us good food.
