Golden Wok

Ordered on-line for pick up. Walked in the door and the kid behind the counter (looked about 15 years old), didn't say a word and just stared at me. I said I was there for a pick up and he just shrugged his shoulders at me> Never saying anything. So I told him my name and he grabbed a bag and pointed to the name on the bag and showed it to me - I said yes that's me. Again, he said nothing, no smile just looked aggravated that I was bothering him. So I paid for my order - again no Thank you or come again just walked away. My first and last time going there. The food was just OK - the pork fried rice was way too salty but the Lo Mein was ok.

What’s going on with Golden Wok? They had amazing Chinese, Thai and Japanese food 10 years ago. It seems in the last few months they stopped online ordering, don’t answer their phone, and the quality of food has dropped dramatically. Most items are out of stock and if you get them they aren’t even close to what they used to be. You’re making me sad, Golden Wok. I ordered once a week for years… it really has been a gradual decline in service and quality. Really sucks when there isn’t that much around here to begin with. Guess I’ll go to Amenia for their average Chinese food because at least they have decent service, and honestly, their food is better than Golden Wok’s these days.
