Intimate and decorated setting with welcoming service. BYOB. Everything we ordered was delicious. The starter croissant and fruit plate went above and beyond your typical bread basket. The ox tail was a rich and perfectly portioned. The chicken Caesar salad was very fresh with a generous portion of chicken. The octopus was cooked perfectly. The quiche of the day was creamy with brie and had a beautifully delicate crust. We also ordered blood orange lemonades: tangy and packed with pulp. Our iced macchiato was also lovely.

Atmosphere: Beautiful paintings, the colors are very warm and the music is perfect: french cafe jazz. The decorations are beautiful. Food: For brunch they start you off with a free appetizer that I forgot to take a picture of. It consisted of an array of french pastries and baked goods with jam, nuts and fruit. The food is very light and filling as opposed to American diners which can be very greasy and heavy. We got eggs benedict and french toast. I get the eggs benedict every time I come, it’s so delicious and comes with an amazing salad. The lattes are also delicious. Everything is so fresh. Service: The servers are all very friendly.

I recently held an after wedding brunch for many of my wedding guests who stayed over. I chose Café Monet because I had read some good reviews! However, I would like to sharply differ with anyone that wrote anything positive about this establishment! The owner was unbelievably nasty. He had one waitress and himself for over 40 guests!! Half the guests had finished their meals before the other guests had been served!! The menu was to include an arugula salad with pear, brie, pistachio and chicken. The dish served had no pears, no pistachios and the chicken was overcooked! The entrees were supposed to be accompanied by fruit, cheeses and croissants and rolls! No cheeses at all were offered, and they didn’t even provide whole croissants and rolls! They simply cut up a few and stuck them on a plate. The fruit consisted of about four bite sized pieces of fruit on skewers. Additionally, there was supposed to be a selection of coffee, iced tea, lemonade and non alcoholic Virgin Mary’s. Only coffee and plain tomato juice and water were displayed on the restaurant counter. When I complained, the owner curtly replied that the guests should have asked for them!! I guess he thought they were clairvoyant! And he offered a literal spoonful of the creme brûlée as dessert for each guest. In total, with a forced twenty percent tip plus tax he charged us over $2,000!!!! He completely ruined the end of what should have been a very happy occasion. I feel beyond swindled and betrayed!!!!

Walked in. Asked for a table for two. Whole entire place was empty. Told it was ‘Reservation Only’ Walked by 30 minutes later. Still empty. Seems elitist or unwelcoming to walk in folks. The sign for reservation is also incredibly small. Will not return. The lady who also greeted us wasn’t friendly about it either. Hope your business stays successful and people continue to love it 💜
