Denny's

We visited this location at 11pm. There were 2 , 4 top tables already seated when we arrived. While waiting for our food we overheard the waitress turn away people coming into the restaurant on more than 1 occasion. She told them that she was the only waitress on shift and that she was backed up and they'd be better off visiting a different location. After receiving our food, maybe she was right to turn them away. I ordered a fried chicken Sandwich that was half the size of the bun and burnt. The onions that I got were slimey and obviously old. After telling her about the issue she avoided my table for 20 minutes and then came back with our bill. She had taken 25% off for the issue over my food, which is cool except I still ended up paying 3 dollars for a sandwich I couldn't eat. I am a cook at a different Denny's location so I know the expectations of both the cooks and servers. It was a sad experience to say the least

I eat here about 8 to 10 times a week for years. They use to be great! Since December they are so short staffed it takes 20 to 30 minutes just to be seated and put in an order. I like the food so I have continued to do it. The waitress tries but one waitress for the entire place is insane. Today I went in and it took 14 minutes to get seated and another 25 minutes to order my food. Then it took 43 minutes to get my food. I asked for my steak to be well done and ended up getting a raw piece of meat with blood all over all the other food. The meat was not even slightly cooked or warm. So I waited more than an hour to get food I would not give to my dog. I left after seeing what they served me. Could not eat a bite.

Great food! Very clean restaurant. Excellent service. Stopped by on our way back to California via I-80. Really enjoyed talking to our server who had moved there from Alabama. His name escapes me but be had excellent people skills! He represented Denny's very well and should be commended as should the rest of the team!

I visited this Denny's early on Sunday May 29th 2022. It was busy but I got a table within a 5 minute wait. The waitress walked by me with food for another table but let me know she would be right back. She returned to my table with a big smile and good morning. May I start you off with a drink! I ordered coffee and my meal. In a timely manner I got my meal and it was cooked exactly how I like it. About half way through my meal, the gentleman who seated me came by and asked, how is everything? I told him how pleased I was with the meal and with that he asked if I would like more coffee. The waitress came by as I was finishing my coffee and gave me my check and asked how my meal was. I paid my bill and thanked the cashier for the excellent meal I had and wonderful service by the staff. Needless to say, I highly recommend this Denny's!
