Cracker Barrel

The hostess didn't appear happy to see us.... My family and I stood there in awe waiting for her to greet us, which she never did. After the hostess decided to walk us to our table approximately 10 minutes later the waitress came over to say "hello". Not sure why it took so long because they weren't busy at all. Possibly this was an off night, however I wasn't very impressed with the customer service of this location. Our waitress was fairly nice, though she also seemed agitated. We still tipped 50% of our ticket. Hopefully they'll be nicer in the future. Overall the food was okay.

As usual, the food was very tasty. Hard to beat their Chicken n' Dumplins dinner with hashbrown casserole, fresh biscuits and other veggies. But, they are the only restaurant I've gone into during the mid-afternoon during this pandemic that can still manage to make you wait 20 minutes or more for a table. I'm not a good or patient waiter and seriously considered going somewhere else..........but, that Chicken n' Dumplins is so good!

I ate dinner here with my wife and parents on a Sunday evening. We were seated within a minute or two of arriving at the host desk. My wife and I split the Southern Chicken meal. With 4 pieces of chicken, it was a great meal to share and it only cost around $10. Make sure to check out the nice salt & pepper shakers in the store! We have bought a majority of ours from Cracker Barrel’s.
