What a lovely spot, ideal for walkers and cyclists and anyone else, lovely inside and out. I had a Bethany followed by a vey nice ginger ice cream…delicious! It was a very hot walk and I was so grateful for the outside tape, I could soak my little dog who was very hot.
Great cafe, friendly staff, nice outside seating, and a great atmosphere inside. However, see the comfy seats; you're going to need them to sit down if you have a can of Coke at £2.50 a can!
I really want to like this cafe, but consistency lets them down. The coffee was so good the first time I visited I went back two weeks later, this time it was awful. I had a long black both times, the first time it was strong and fruity with good acidity, the second time it was like coloured water.
This is a perfect and welcoming stop if you are walking or cycling the South Downs Way. Even on a car journey make sure you pull into the carpark and sample home cooked food. All diets catered for. Fine coffee. Great hospitality too.
Very nice, they open quite early and cater for ramblers, cyclists and outdoor lovers like me. A very warm welcome, nothing is too much trouble. Great location
Great up market cafe and Longman Beer outlet on the South Downs way. Excellent quality food and bakery items. Friendly service and lovely South Downs views. The perfect place to refresh after a Downland walk.
