Boston Market

I used to go here all the time 7-8 years ago and have memories of it being delicious! However, when I went back this past Monday, I was so disappointed. I got a chicken sandwich with mashed potatoes, my husband got a chicken pot pie with corn and my father got a half chicken with roasted potatoes and creamed spinach. Let me first say that we wanted mixed vegetables but they were out of them and the employee working did not want to prep more. The chicken on the sandwich was good, but the bun was raw (???) and the lettuce was wilted and soggy. I ended up taking the chicken and cheese off the bun and just eating that. The mashed potatoes were delicious, and are the reason for an extra star. The chicken pot pie had about three tiny pieces of chicken in it, and was 90% pie dough. It should have probably been labeled a veggie pot pie. The corn was fine, nothing special. The half chicken was good. The roasted potatoes were raw and hard and the creamed spinach was watery and strange. We also had iced tea that was immediately off putting and not drinkable and was thrown out. It had the taste of a machine that had not been cleaned in a very long time. I have been hoping that Boston market would make it's way to the West coast where I am now, but after this experience I can see why they aren't doing well. Quality control is severely lacking and the food is borderline dangerous.

The people who work here are rude and the food has gone downhill. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and the lettuce was soggy and brown. Didn’t come with a chicken nor my corn bread. I brought it to their attention and the lady starred at me then told her manager that I was complaining. The manager took the salad in the back and the lady told me, I’ll make you a new bowl. After 15 minutes, I get my salad with dark meat chicken that still had bones in it. When she delivered it to my table, she made a smart remark, “I made it myself.” Really disappointed with this place!
