Ihop

Food was simply amazing!! Somebodies mother and/or father is in the kitchen throwing DOWN! The food was fresh and hot! Everything came out at the same time. The waitress was super friendly!! Job well well done! See the pictures! Keep in mind people make mistakes… but there WAS NONE made today from this IHOP TEAM!

Honestly, it's the first time I ate IHOP in a minute so I'm not sure if it's this location or all of them. It is a national chain restaurant. Prices are higher than they were a few years ago but that's everywhere these days. Portions are smaller than they were previously as well, also a going trend as of current. Food was barely warm. I ate all my hash browns in about four bites. Eggs seemed like they were from a premix carton of some sort of scrambled egg like substance. Waitress was cool though which earned them an extra star, up from one. Basically, even amongst the other national chains, they're not what they used to be. I used to love IHOP but I will probably never set foot in one again and I was just disappointed in my visit here on this day. It's been fun, deuces...

The rating is based on the kind of niche this restaurant is filling, not based upon fine dining standards. Given the 7 iHops in the greater New Orleans area, this has been the best by far. No wait at 11:45am on a Sunday morning, waitress was immediate, she took our fairly complicated order which came out as ordered, came by several times to check before and after meal, and was very attentive. Food quality was good. No complaints.

My husband and I went on a Sunday morning. It was nice and clean, older people were mostly there, not noisey, our server was very good her job. I even told her she would not be in that position for very long she knew how to pace herself, greet, check to see if needed anything and correct anything that was not satisfying in the least... Gave her a nice than I give most. That says values for severe. Go there. I hope they keep service grade A. It compensate for high prices.

I ordered through DoorDash so I’m not sure if it was the Ihop on Vets or the one off the service road. The Vets Ihop is closer so I’ll guess it was that location. I am pleasantly surprised and happy with the food quality, temperature, portions! I had low expectations since it was being delivered through DoorDash but they definitely proved me wrong.

Just went into this location for a late breakfast. Hostess counter was empty. Waited for someone to acknowledge us at the hostess counter to get on the wait list like you usually do at IHOP. A man in a blue shirt walked up (I believe his name tag said Mike) he never said a word to us, he looked at the clip board then shoved it across the counter at us (I'm assuming for us to write our name on it?) and walked off. Wow. Worst treatment ever at a restaurant. We left.
