Subway

My servers name was Michael, he was so polite and willing to help. His uniform appeared to be neat and clean. I always appreciate good hygiene. Although, I didn't see him with an apron, (to keep a clean surface between the employees and the food) but he did wash his hands before helping me so that was a big plus in my book. He was also working alone, I found this strange because he looked maybe 12. Maybe this location isn't busy enough to keep at least 2 staff members at all times, but I don't know. I gave this place a 4 star only because it's hiding in the cut behind a drug store and there was a guy inside, not outside asking for money. Which I don't mind, I normally will help, but it made me feel on edge in a way, because he looked very comfortable sitting there. Maybe Micheal was nervous about asking him to leave because again he looked 12. Anyway, this was actually about giving Micheal and his exponential service a positive review. Naming things he probably has no control over makes it look like it's negative but it's not.. So I will say, if he's not in management he definitely should be considered.

Gotta love the sub of the day deal. Caught it on Thursday which happened to be my favorite of Italian BMT. The sub maker actually put a lot of effort into making it. It's not sloppy, falling apart or any other issue that sometimes makes them inedible. It had the perfect amount of veggies and sauces and was the perfect lunch I was looking for out on my errands on a warm day. Crunchy lettuce, cold cucumbers and tomatoes, and tang of banana peppers all balanced well finished with Mayo, oil, and vinegar.

I had the best customer service experience at your location today. It was actually on Monday and today by the same employee. Xavier is an outstanding employee who you should really hang on to. He is polite, professional, upbeat and friendly. He greeted me when I entered and said he looked forward to serving me next time in. He even told me about your new cheese selection...way to upsell! Very refreshing to see someone in his age group acting so professional. Cream always rises and I would imagine this young man has a great future ahead of him professionally.
