Starbucks

Busy store with drive through and in store ordering always moving. Important note: This location is new. It is in front of the iBank Tower and immediately right of Casablanca. The old location is now an Abner's. The address on Google Maps is correct but the pin will try to take you to White Station. Unless you want chicken, watch where it takes you. 🍗

This is one of the newest Starbucks in the area as of 2022 and it’s functional. Operations can be slightly slower during peak hours but that’s less surprising at Starbucks locations that also have drive-throughs. Outdoor seating area is neat and usable. Indoor vibe is chill. Their Spotify playlist is quite good and not very loud. Coffee and pastries are standard quality. Plenty of parking next to the Starbucks. A couple of lanes for drive-through that doesn’t block the right lane of the road. Starbucks merch. is also available. Overall, one of the top 5 locations in Memphis.

Coffee is always good, they just have a strange system at this location. If you order multiple drinks, they do not prepare them together. One drink comes out 10-15 minutes before another, so the first gets cold and watery before the hot comes out. Or the hot is luke warm before you get the other drink And a basic hot pour takes 20 minutes, but a fancy creation comes out within 5. Not sure why they do it differently than any other Starbucks in the country, because it's definitely not as good this way.

My favorite spot to hang out and chill, all the more cause of the nice people there. The interior has lots of seating options, with laptop friendly seating. The seating is ok outside, but unfortunately the sun shines straight in your eyes during the afternoon, just the hazard of the location I suppose. The food and drinks are, well, Starbucks, so pretty good. The flavored cold foam drinks are good so try them if they stick around. And for the record, coming in any later than early afternoon on a weekday means there will probably not be any food items left, since they've already long been picked over by that point. The parking is pretty lacking, but there's a lot next door that's not posted, so the worst that means is a bit of a walk. If the baristas there see this, love y'all, you're all really nice!

I love Starbucks and cannot drink any other coffee. I buy the dark roast in the form of what they call a Traveller. Designed for large gatherings, it lasts me around two to three days. Therefore, I buy two to three a week. The coffee is consistently the same delicious and rich flavor. No matter which store I go to, the staff is always pleasant and knowledgeable. No wonder they are busy all of their opening hours.
