Kebab Republic

Cute little Kebab place in the vicinity of a petrol station. Cheap and standard prices for kebabs and HSPs. They take card with no surcharge which is a plus. I got a kebab and it was really good. You can never go wrong with a kebab. I wish they had thicker bread though; that would have made it better. The guys behind the till are super friendly and nice.

I would give even less, if I could.First time I went in the shop, the guy ripped me off by giving me a containers half chicken and half onions to fill the large ONLY MEAT container. I asked him why he put onions in it, he said because of flavor. He did not even return it. I contacted the owner and he assured me this will not happen again. Next time I went in, same guy, same request, fills in the container with half fat and half chicken with oil floating at the bottom as I have ordered an Indian curry. The guy who came after me was served before me because he came from next door Mercedes showroom and I resemble from the subcontinent so my food was left on the table, so he could be served on priority. Even though both of us are from the same background, would we call that Racism??

This has got to be the worst kebab joint I've ever been to. The order was completely stuffed up even though the order was written on the boxes!? The service was slow, chicken was burnt, lamb was oily to the point where there was a puddle of oil at the bottom of the box. To top off the poor service and total lack of attention, they are stupidly overpriced and under-portioned (the under-portion can be forgiven considering the food was that bad it was barely edible). Extremely disappointed and if I could give 0/5 I would because this was just sad. All hype, no bloody idea. To be fair the guy was nice.
