Standing Room

One of the better coffees on the Melbourne Uni campus. My flat white had a balanced flavour, made with good milk and nicely roasted beans. Tucked in a little store in the Union building, the staff were friendly and fast getting my flat white. Not a place to chill out, as there are no seats and the noise from the student dining area is loud, but great for a coffee on the move.

Has there been a change to staff or management in the last couple of weeks? I was coming here every day for coffee for a while, but in the last 2 weeks the quality has dropped right off. I actually dropped my second last coffee in the bin after a few sips and bought one somewhere else. Tried again today, ordered soy, got milk, and the milk was overcooked. I know it's standard in most places but hands are not an acceptable way to judge the temperature. It's your main product, have pride in it, use thermometers. Milk tastes completely different at 50, 55, 60. Your hands aren't accurate enough over the course of a shift for me to drop $5 a day on a gamble. I'll try again in a week or two, I hope you sort out whatever is wrong recently.
