Rosetta is a beautiful Italian restaurant with a very warm ambience and luxury fitout. The service here is true silver service, from taking your jackets, their welcomes, intros to the food and more. The food here is top quality and good traditional flavours. The desserts here are probably the pick of the menu though. Great wine list too. Worth a visit

We have been to Rosetta's s few times and it never disappoints. The food was amazing! Our party of four raved about the dishes that they ate. The service was impeccable and the waiters were attentive and friendly. It was such a beautiful restaurant to take our friends from the country who loved Rosetta too. We will definitely be back again to enjoy everything that Rosetta has to offer!

The food here is very average, not amazing but not horrible either. The pork was quite tasteless and a bit disappointing. The highlight of the meal was the caviar, just divine. And the Sgroppino Lemon Sorbet cocktail is to die for, I’ll be revisiting purely for this cocktail!

It is easily accessible situated in the crown complex. They have got ample seating for small and big groups.

This restaurant has a lovely ambiance outside for a summer's lunch but other than that we found the experience disappointing. The food was very overpriced for what it was. We shared a couple of entrees to start but whilst the grilled prawns were tasty it came with only 3 medium sized prawns for $35. We then followed that with a crab linguine for $58 and a $48 spaghetti bolognaise. Although these dishes were both good, for these prices we would expect them to be outstanding. The spinach risotto for $51 was bland and the bucatini amatricana for $48 tasted no better than a sauce from a jar. There are better fine dining italian restaurants in Melbourne which cost a lot less to eat in.

The spatchcock was delicious and the roast pumpkin was divine. The twice cooked potatoes were tasty but very filling. The eye fillet was cooked perfectly and was accompanied by various sauces. The desert of chocolate gelato and lemon sorbet finished the meal nicely.

Mama Mia. What a disappointment. How this restaurant is getting 4 and 5 star reviews absolutely baffles me. It certainly is not an Italian restaurant so prepare yourself for disappointment if this is what you're expecting. <br/>Just because the entire menu is written in Italian inspired wording such as primi, arrosto, second, formaggi etc it doesn't make it an Italian restaurant. <br/>Just because you employ waiters with strong Italian accents to make it appear like a genuine Italian restaurant, it doesn't make it an Italian restaurant.<br/>It helps if you understand what proper Italian cuisine is suppose to taste like. Nothing we ate was Italian cuisine. <br/>Maybe just the Macchiato Coffee I had at the end. <br/>What makes matters worse is the excessive prices. Regardless of that, if you were to simply judge the food on just the food, it was appalling. <br/>Here is a list of what we ordered: The grilled South Australian octopus (way over spiced, very salty and could not taste the octopus), the risotto con scampi (bland and mushy), the tagliolini with spanner crab (too salty) King George whiting (meagre pieces of fillets and lacked taste) and the wood fired pork chop (dry and too salty).<br/>I don't mind spending money on good food. The reason Rosetta attracted me was because I was expecting it to be good. The menu and high prices scammed me into thinking it was going to be good.<br/>There are many good Italian restaurants in Melbourne. Just be weary of these dodgy ones.<br/>Note to myself, never judge a book by it's cover.

Second time coming to this venue and this time sat outside on the terrace instead of the main dining room. Definitely a more casual atmosphere yet still nice. Service was friendly and attentive. We ordered the hanger steak $49 and the pork chop ($52) along with two glasses of red and a side of twice cooked potatoes ($14). The potatoes were delicious as was the pork chop (cooked to perfection and so crispy). My boyfriend also enjoyed the steak but envied my pork chop choice! Only downfall was the waitress or kitchen had forgotten our side of potatoes and we had to ask for it and then had eaten half of our mains before they came out. A good restaurant would have offered the potatoes for free in light of the error, particularly as the steak and pork chop come solo with nothing additional as a side so was a little disappointing. <br/><br/>Otherwise everything was lovely and delicious!

My friends took me to this elegant restaurant situated in Crown for my birthday. I enjoyed all the food that was ordered: Lamb rump, bolognese, gnocchi with mushrooms (this was a small side dish but perfectly cooked) and lastly tagliolini with snapper crab (being my favourite). Food was delicious but more on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. The service was very attentive that as soon as I finished my glass of wine, they asked if I would like another.

Also ordered the spanner crab tagliolini and while they were generous with the crab meat I thought it was slightly too salty for me. 4 stars is an accurate reflection here; the service usually is very good, the decor is fantastic. The whole roasted goat shoulder is fantastic, the pastas are good by Melbourne standards; the Osso Buco dish missed the mark, and the roast potatoes have have never been fresh and taste reheated each time ordered. I’ve been here often, another place that’s good for a date with someone suitable. For mine, stick to the pastas here; and if you’re a group of 3-4, order the whole roasted goat shoulder 24 hrs earlier. Think the menu needs new life, but will give this place the thumbs up still.

This was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. We had our own waiter for the evening, who catered for everything we needed. Nice, comfortable atmosphere. The tagliolini, twice cooked crispy potatoes, and inferno pizza were the stand outs. 5 star all the way!! Elegance and style as soon as you walk in with a tantalising menu to complement the extensive wine list. We had the chargrilled squid and Grigliata which were both exquisite in taste. Our mains were Blue Mountain corn fed chicken and King George whiting and again the Neil Perry signature flavours were outstanding. One thing that is also a standout is the size of your meal. You would expect small servings but not the case here. Dessert was to die for. Excellent friendly and formal service leaving you with an appetite to return.

The pasta was cooked al dente and the sauce full of full bodied tomato flavour and it came with a generous portion of tender braised pork. We also had some of their chips which was a layering of thinly sliced potato, whilst kinda special and novel, I would still prefer a nicely fried thin cut chip. Atmosphere and service was exceptional and price was reasonable in this part of town.

Friend booked this place for our Christmas Catch Up. I ordered the spinach risotto, the risotto was a bit under and there was not much flavour in it. Friend ordered the duck main and she said she couldn't even cut through the meat, over and chewy. My entree wasn't so bad. Good mix of seafood but it cost $40 wow... Friends meat ball entree was not that good according to her. Not much flavour.. Ordered the potato and asparagus sides. Potato was absolutely bland and asparagus is sooooo salty. <br/><br/>Cocktails were ok, not impressive but not let down either. The only thing is they have a 90 mins seating which I have no problem with. But maybe bring the food out a bit quicker? We waited and waited for our entree and main and when we want to order dessert we are already 5 mins over time and they had to kick us out of our table.. To be fair they did offer us to seat on the terrance/bar, but we just thought maybe we don't want to be disappointed again..

Sophisticated restaurant with an opulent atmosphere and refined Italian menu. To start we were all offered a range of breads to select from. I went for the herbed focaccia which was delicious. For my meal I ordered the rockling fillets with capsicum salsa. We also shared a side of broccoli. The rockling was very mild but went well with the capsicum. Wine list was impressive too. Perfect spot for a long leisurely lunch or dinner.

We had planned for a girls get together at Rosette. The plan was to enjoy a nice long lunch followed by a movie.<br/><br/>Unfortunately, due to the movie timing, we had to somewhat rush lunch. We still had two courses, but had to ask twice to get the mains out. At the time of ordering, we had advised the wait staff we needed to leave at a certain time. I’m not sure whether such info was passed to the back of the house as the timing of the food doesn’t appear to take this into consideration.<br/> <br/>There was a few things I remember about this place:<br/>1) It’s not part of the main Crown complex. It’s on its own outside Crown, so I had to fumble around looking for it.One of the others was so lost, I had to meet her at Crown Hotel Lobby entrance and bring her in.<br/>2) The décor is very European. Huge drapes, chandeliers, marble floors. When I walked in, it was like “orrhhh. Impressive”<br/>3) The pasta was really, really salty. There was 6 of us of which 4 ordered pasta for their main. All 4 pastas was so salty, it was barely edible. But we were in such a rush, no point complaining. We had absolutely no time for a second chance. <br/> <br/>Having said that, it may be a simple mistake in the kitchen. Maybe the chef salted, forgot and resalted. lol. I can’t think of any other reason.<br/>I would still visit it again as the other dishes were very nice.

Sadly the food was average & service was poor.<br/><br/>The Restaurant manager was very attentive and great customer service, but the remaining staff definitely needs further training to provide better services and need to be aware of the current promotions that's being held by Rockpool group (no point advertising with crown when your own staff ain't aware of the promotion)!!<br/><br/>Staff servicies were way below expectation!! One of the waiting staff even gave me attitude... If you don't want my business I won't return.<br/><br/>You can get way better services and food at crown for the same price!! Sorry Neil, My daughter took me to Rosetta Melbourne for a special evening. How disappointing. My Osso Buco was flavourless, my daughter wanted the crumbed veal and even though the waitress was very attentive and explained the specials, menu, etc. failed to mention until we went to order that the veal was off the menu. She then ordered a $65 T-bone steak which even though was large on the plate was very thin and had a lot of fat throughout not just along the edge. The twice cooked crispy potatoes were like small bricks and dripping in some sort of fat or oil. The best thing was the mixed leaf salad. The semi fredo which we shared was also flavourless. We were so looking forward to this place but unfortunately won't be returning.

This restaurant failed to deliver for us. We ordered the Osso Bucco it was not cooked for long enough and had not broken down and so it was tough and the whole dish lacked flavour. All of our dishes were average and the wait staff were unfriendly and clinical. Very disappointed as we traveled the whole way from Sydney. Perry seems to have his fingers in too many pies and as a result this restaurant is way off the mark. Would not go back would not recommend. It cost a fortune.

This was constantly being opened all night each time with a cold burst of air. My legs were frozen - we may as well not bothered to book in advance and just sat outside. Can’t understand for the sake of a few extra outdoor tables that those inside had to have such a terrible experience.<br/>Really disappointing Mr Perry - had wanted to try the restaurant for some time but definitely won’t be back or recommending to anyone else.<br/>

Both were nice but the crab linguine was pretty oily and they are small servings. Dessert was delicious we ordered the coconut peanut semi Freddo. For the $$ you pay I expected more as far as the quality and serving size. Nice to go there, but wouldn’t be going back in a hurry.

As you can see on the pictures I did not even finish my plate. <br/><br/>Not going back after all this experience - I love good food but will spend my money elsewhere. <br/><br/>Very disappointed with service and lack of attention to detail in both food and service. No wow factor for the price you pay and can definitely get better elsewhere.

We went here for our anniversary for the 6pm seating and had a great evening. The service from walking in the door to seating and all throughout was attentive but not intrusive. The food was very tasty and cooked well. We both ordered pasta dishes as mains as suggested but I think I could have done with keeping it as a entree size portion as it was very filling. There was generous portions of crab in the dish which was appreciated. The ambience was very refined but still relaxed. Definitely a special occassion restaurant as prices are up there but worth it.

We ordered tuna kingfish entree and the grilled octopus to share. The octopus was delicious but maybe too charred. It was quite bitter. For mains we had the crab pasta, the pork ragu and the ossobuco. My crab was way too salty and the ossobuco was under done. They were generous with water and bread which made for a good night. All this food plus two sides and five wines came to $300. A good experience but food can definitely be better from a Neil Perry restaurant.

The ragu bolognese and the spanner crab pasta were the best we have ever had and the veal and the snapper for mains were just as impressive. Beautiful wine and beautiful coffee on top of that - couldn’t ask for anything more. It is expensive but definitely worth it for a special occasion. Will definitely go back. Wow, what a gorgeous space! Visited this amazing restaurant recently for a special occasion. The staff were absolutely delightful, friendly, attentive and fun. A huge highlight of our evening. The service was seamless and the food was traditional, fresh and delicious. I can’t wait to go back. Such a lovely atmosphere and comfortable seating. I could’ve sat there all night. Wow what a treat! Left Melbourne for an hour and landed somewhere in a beautiful trattoria to indulge in some high-class home cooked hearty Italian food by Nonna!<br/><br/>The food: ordered two pasta dishes and the home made ricotta antipasti - sorry I forgot the names as I went straight to food heaven. The texture of the house made pasta was simply stunning: a bit of a bite with great flavours and wonderful mouthfeel. The braised beef was just perfect with the right amount of saltiness and packed with taste. The butter and sage sauce for the tortellini was the best I had as it didn’t taste oily at all and was well balanced with subtle flavours. <br/><br/>The service: super professional and very attentative. Our waiter was one of the best we had in Melbourne. <br/><br/>Pricing: actually when comparing Rosetta to restaurants in Lygon street it’s not that much different in pricing. Hence, would much more recommend Rosetta!

I have been dining at this restaurant for several years and each time I have had an amazing experience and delicious food! All the staff look after you like your the only person in the restaurant, the service is always impeccable. Whether sitting on the terrace for an afternoon lunch in the sun or at the bar for a quick bite I have always had a wonderful time and enjoyed everything this restaurant has to offer. <br/>The pappardelle is my favourite dish along side their signature agnolotti. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

Very disappointing experience. Food is ok except for the overly salty Polpette entre but below expectation for a premium Crown located restaurant . The staff have too much attitude and unprofessional with no one to even greet at entry. An over priced fine dining experience where they can't even get the correct meal to the appropriate person. After sending back the overly salty meal and virtually being scolded, we were ignored. Empty glass was not noticed, water not topped up, main meal took too long to come out (others around us received meals before we did despite arriving after). Much better value and serviced Italian restaurants in Melbourne.

Beautiful decor inside with the fluffy curtains.<br/>Located outside Crown at the front near the Yarra river, both indoor and outdoor seatings were very comfortable. The only downside with inside was the tables were so close that you can hear your neighbours’ conversations.<br/>Vego risotto with zucchini was super tasty. The vego pasta with broccolini was ok.<br/>Broccoli and cauliflower with almond paste was a huge serving as a side and the nuts were very filling.<br/>The eggplant parmigiana was a small side with lots of yummy buffalo mozzarella and only two thin slices of eggplant for $14.<br/>Buffalo yogurt panna cotta was amazing with frozen strawberries.<br/>Tiramisu was ok, nothing special. <br/>The non alcoholic blood orange was good but served with too much ice cubes.<br/>Lots of Italian wine and the two light reds similar to Pinot were great, well recommended. <br/>Overall the service was quite slow but extremely friendly and helpful. <br/>Expect to pay $75-85pp with a main, a side, 1/2 dessert and a glass of wine. Good place for special occasions. <br/>

We have enjoyed some of our most favourite Melbourne meals at Rosetta!<br/><br/>The food is so delicious and tasty words can't really express it, you have to try it for yourself!<br/>Every dish we have ordered has been fresh, amazingly delicious and tantalising, served as pretty as ever and very importantly, in good portions.<br/><br/>The table will go quiet after you take your first bite and you'll walk away completely content!<br/><br/>The table service is next to none. There's an array of staff who know the menu inside out, can suggest a fantastic option to you and ensure you have everything you need at all times. It's amazing and yet quite casual and very friendly.<br/><br/>For the price of each dish, I would happily pay for the value and quality you receive. Every dish we have ordered has actually blown us away with its flavour.<br/><br/>We are so so happy and delighted with every visit and will continue to explore the menu at Rosetta.<br/><br/>I'm quite surprised it has only received a 3.4 rating, however, I would say it is defintely one of Melbourne's best dining experiences!

So many staff, yet so little service! Had dinner there last night, a table of six & staff never seemed to be around when you needed them. We had to seek them out and tell them what we needed - they didn't have an eye for the table, and it was confusing as to which member of staff was assigned to which role; it's a really odd system, which was dysfunctional in practice. And the food is ordinary & overpriced. The osso bucco was 'ok', the bolognese ragu was 'ok', my spaghetti with mussels, chilli, garlic was way over-salted. However, the salumi was delicious, the bread & olive oil brilliant and the decor luxurious, although somewhat decadent. This was my second visit and that'll do me - for a high-end restaurant, it's just not good enough.

The tagliolini spanner crab was way too salty and I imagine myself eating few spoonful of salt than pasta. The broccolini side dish also overly salty! While I mentioned this to the waitress at the end of the meal (finishing only half a portion, was too hungry not to eat it after a good 45mins wait for the pasta), she neither feel sorry for our unpleasant experience nor explaining. She simply nod her head and clear our table. What a disappointing response and we are clueless what went wrong in the kitchen or something is wrong with the chef's taste buds?

I remember my first visit to Rosetta Ristorante and I was wowed by the elegance, the food and service. Subsequent visits (twice) I have felt underwhelmed. In my humble opinion, our amazing city certainly has other Italian restaurants who offer added ambience, more affordable and more notable Italian fare.

Has been years since being to this one, foods sensational (might have changed) but we had a table of about 8-10 and got asked to leave for other guests in a not overly full dinner service, whilst still finishing mains.<br/><br/>Not a cheap night, didnt have the opportunity to have desert or coffees and were told we 'could sit outside'<br/><br/>Rude staff and management at the time.<br/>Have never nor will ever be back.

Came for dinner last night, walked in and was wowed by the decor, chose to sit outside and I’m glad we did. Started with oysters and steak tartare, the tartare was amazing and a must try, the pecorino ontop just takes it to another level. Gnocchi was sooo soft it just melted in the mouth but for the price, portions painfully small. At times service was extremely slow and I think that’s where things need to improve a little.

Amazing surroundings and atmosphere. So beautiful to look at when you are dining! The blue cheese is melt-in-your-mouth amazing! I'd highly reccommend the duck - it is honestly the best I've ever had. You must try the peanut/coconut alrefredo! One of their signature desserts and it does not disappoint!

From the warm welcome, we were led into the beautiful and elegantly decorated dining room. <br/>At 12.45 on a Sunday afternoon it was still quite empty... we were delighted with our huge comfy booth at the back of the vast dining space, later as it filled it became noisier. <br/>All the staff were charming, attentive and very professional.<br/>Menu is mouthwatering, special gluten free menu available on request. Excellent wine list and bar options- sommelier available to answer all questions.<br/>The food was delicious, beautifully cooked, artfully presented and portioned generously.<br/>We had a wonderful time and lingered overlunch for hours. Already looking forward to our next visit!!

Rosetta, with its exceptional service, was a delight to dine at. We had an attentive waiter who started us off with some complimentary breadsticks, choice of sourdough and foccacia bread. <br/><br/>We ordered the squid to start off with - large tubey thick pieces of squid in some dressing with onion and celery. Very refreshing. <br/><br/>We had the gnocchi with braised lamb as our main - overly salty (waaaay too salty), but gnocchi was just scrumptious. <br/><br/>Eggplant parmigiana, less salty, with delicious thick pieces of cheese melted into it. <br/><br/>The roasted broccolini was my favourite with delicious chopped almonds. <br/><br/>all up bill was around $115. <br/><br/>Exceptional service. <br/><br/>Relaxed vibe.

I'm torn to the fibre of my being over this. I couldn't love the interior any more. <br/>LUX<br/>GLAMOROUS<br/>ELEGANT<br/>PERFECTION <br/>The food however is thoroughly overpriced and somewhat lacking in deliciousness. I thought this the first time I visited the week it opened (where I was a bubbling stuttering mess at having seen Mr Perry sauntering around front of house) and my opinion is quite unchanged. I still feel you need to check it out once because the ambiance is electrifying. The chandeliers, the velvet, oh the atmosphere. Fit out nailed ✔️<br/>I had a main sized pasta which was extortionately priced at 50 something dollars for a relatively small portion. It was missing the hearty generosity of Italian serving sizes. Overall I don't think this is anywhere near the calibre of Rockpool or Spice Temple food wise but the space itself is certainly more opulent

There is literally nothing bad I would say about this place. It is perfection thanks Neil perry!! Their moscato is also to die for if you're a fan. This place is amazing. Excellent service, have been here 3 times now and each time has been great. The entree prawns and calamari dishes are fantastic. My friend had been going on about their grilled duck dish and it did not disappoint. I was never a huge fan of duck but this has turned me. Very nice place.

We went to Rosetta for a special birthday party for ten. The whole experience was soured by a terrible, patronizing waitress. When we asked for the group goat dish to come early as one of our party had to leave early, she rolled her eyes and explained that "entrees come before mains" and "we want you to wait 15 mins in between courses". The tone of her voice and the multiple eye rolls implied that we couldn't understand English. Rather than take herself away to calm down she proceeded to argue with us about whether we could have the main dish served at entree. The whole experience ruined the mood of our group. To top it all off the receptionist had told us we could have Crown points for the $1000 meal but oops she made a mistake. And there was a mandatory tip because we had a large group. The food here is just ok but certainly not worth the price or the aggravation. Neil Perry claims to have multicultural cuisine but the staff at most of his restaurants are very monocultural. I will never go to Rosetta again. If I could give zero I would.

Very unusual for me to go out and do some 'fine dining', however on this occasion. It was truly wonderful.<br/><br/>The food was exceptional. I had the lamb gnocchi. It was the tastiest lamb I have ever eaten. It melted in my mouth. The portion sizes were very generous too!<br/><br/>Incredible food. Will definitely come here again.

When you think Italian, you think of larger portions, Rosetta is not that sort of Italian ristorante, it is a place of fine atmosphere, excellent service, extensive wine list, and delicate flavors. Personally I like my larger portions so a little disappointed in that regards but don't get me wrong there are some winning dishes; actually it seemed anything that went near their char-grill was an absolute winner; like the calamari for entree and the broccolini as a side. Ossobuco and the potato as a side dish were notable winners, though give the seafood risotto a miss if your not akin to the true bold taste of seafood.

The restaurant is beautiful inside and the staff are lovely but the food is awful pasta with broccoli just tasted of straight up garlic and salt they can't even just make a basic schnitzel nicely as it was soggy and very chewy there semi fredo tastes of sugar and is not good for the price your paying for there food it is awful would definitely not recommend.

Rosetta isn't of the class of Rockpool and not the same in flavour as Spice Temple. The other two Neil Perry establishments at Crown are better than Rosetta. <br/>The food is nice but not the best Italian restaurant in Melbourne. It's probably a 3.75 for me to be honest. <br/>The serving sizes are decent though which was very enjoyable for us. <br/>Atmosphere and decor of Rosetta is nice and it's nowhere near as dark inside as Rockpool and Spice Temple. <br/>As for the food we had 3 nice and enjoyable meals. Crudo and charcoal grilled Calamari was a nice way too start. We had the lamb gnocchi next which was a tad too salty however pasta was cooked nicely. <br/>We shared the duck breast to finish with twice cooked potatoes. The potatoes are to die for and super crunchy on the outside yet soft and fluffy on the inside. <br/>I would come back but not in a hurry any time soon.

Second visit but whilst the entres were very good, the $52 mains, seafood stew, were rather average and nothing I couldn't whip up at home. Too much tomato chunk with skin in plate and minimal seafood with chewy calamari and a dodgy mussel.The lamb cutlets our guests had were also tough and chewy, thought the Osso Buco was said to be good. I won't be returning unless I hear it's picked up again as I'm happy to pay a premium but the quality and plating lagged behind a recent excellent cafe experience in the same week.

I don't have time for a long review. I have been to many high end restaurants in Melbourne of which i can say i enjoyed immensely. However i was not happy with my experience at rosetta. The food was nice(some plates little salty) but i found the service to be cold and a little on the rude side. I don't think its necessary and i have been served in viu de mode, jaques and guy grossi all superior restaurants without the attitude. I don't know when hospitality got so confused!

The place is absolutely beautiful and the staff are amazing however, it took us an hour to get our mains after entree and when I received my pasta it was not as expected. Pasta was too salty. For the price you pay, I wouldn't be going there again.

Service was quite poor but food was not enjoyable at all. I went there for my birthday and ordered the gnocchi which lacked flavour and was starchy. For dessert, I ordered the tiramisu which was probably the worst tiramisu I've ever had. The alcohol overpowered the other elements and was way too strong to even enjoy, it ended up making the tiramisu very bitter. Overall, unsatisfied and not worth the price.

Been here at least 4 times, mostly business dinner. Food is rather average, however, the duck dish I keep ordering is pretty decent. I guess it is cheap for what it has offered. Nice staff, I tip them $50 once for making a bit drama to say thanks.

Rockpool, Spice Temple, Eleven's Bridge - I didn't expect less, Neil Perry. Ive not have gnocchi with meat and the gnocchi with lamb was very interesting. I think I needed something to wash away the intense flavour of the dish at the end but the experience of eating it was enjoyable. My partner enjoyed his wagyu rib eye and the sides were perfect for me. I really need to try the desserts next time!

Too bad if you dont feel like meat n fish. For a " vego friendly restraunt" you can't even get a plate of pasta without fish or meat it, nor a single main dish. Just sides. Menu design in extremely poor and amateurish.<br/><br/>This is italian food for non italians or people who are completely unfamailiar with basic italian food - enough said.<br/><br/>So if u are italian or know the food, you are in for a comedy show.<br/><br/>Service and venue = great<br/>Menu, quality and food = a disaster zone.<br/>Value for money = laughable.<br/><br/>Better options for italian within crown or just down the street.<br/>

I'd been looking forward to Rosetta for as long as it's been open. My birthday was the perfect occasion to get the family together. The only seating available was the 8:30. We were a party of 8. The waitress tried her best to be accommodating but I felt that she just took too long between giving us menus and taking our orders... this meant that our antipasti didn't come out until 9:30. We all ordered pastas AND mains. Pasta arrived just after 10 and by this stage half of us weren't hungry any more. We wanted to cancel mains but our waitress hadn't appeared back at our table so by the time she popped up we were informed that they were already cooking and were being plated for the pass. The manager was very pained to tell me the timings were perfectly normal and reasonable so what would I like her to do about it... long story short had some meals prepared for take away, mains came out 10 minutes later and they were kind enough to pop a candle in a slice of cake for me. We didn't walk out of there until 11:15. It's a real shame but I don't think I'll be going back.

Went here with a friend from overseas and we were both really impressed. They took a while to get us drinks, however, we enjoyed the ambience and soft music in the meantime. <br/>Pasta was soft and flavoursome- it literally melted in my mouth. Panna Cotta was super yum also.

Had a conference that ended pretty late and many restaurants were not taking anymore walk-ins.<br/>Thankfully, the staff at Rosetta gave us a table!!<br/>Although it was late, the staff were nice and very polite, letting us know that we should take our time to enjoy our meal even though it was close to closing.<br/>Food was excellent. I really loved the duck.<br/><br/>Excellent service, excellent food - would highly recommend!<br/>The service itself is enough to make me want to come back!!!!!
