The fettuccine alfredo was good but the fried calamari and berkshire pork chop were both lacking taste. It was bland. I was expecting more in regards to the taste because the pork chop was over $30. Lol. The mussels in white wine was just ok, big portion but mussels were tiny.

Awesome place! Awesome food! Walked in on a busy Friday expected to need a reservation, but the place is huge! Sat outside loved the atmosphere and heat. The owner is the one that sat us and checked up on us throughout the night, she was so nice and fun. If I could give more stars I would. Oh forgot to mention the food was spectacular!

We went here for our anniversary and as always it was perfect. From the moment we stepped in we were greeted with the owner and she had our table ready outside which was on the heated patio and a beautiful view of the Fox River. Our server was very knowledgeable, kind and was friendly. Bimbo's is one favorites!

Very tasty Italian food dishes with very large portions. I had the lasagna and honestly was unable to finish it in one sitting. Comfortable place with easy handicap access - no steps anywhere. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable .

Food was great. Atmosphere (on the patio) was gorgeous. Service was good. Our server was obviously very busy; and there was a decent amount of support staff, but I didn't see much teamwork. Be proactive about filling waters!

Made reservation for 7:15, got there at 7:10 seated at bar while waiting for table. Bartender was friendly and attentive. Get our table and we ordered drinks and food. After food was served we did not see waitress and was never asked if we needed a water or refill on our drinks. Not offered bread as we saw all other tables with it. Food was nothing to rave about. The only reason i give two stars is the bartender.

Our first time here will not be our last. Service was great and food is delicious.
Stuffed Chicken- Spinach, fontinela, white wine, cream, lemon
Giambota - Chicken, sausage, onions, peppers, mushrooms, potato, white wine sauce
Huge portions too. Carrot Cake to go will be reviewed separately. We are very particular about our carrot cake.

The red sauce on my pasta was almost brown, it had a burnt taste to it, like it was overcooked. The people I was with agreed with me, their sauce was dark as well. How can an Italian restaurant get their red sauce wrong? The outdoor seating was very nice and our waiter was great.
