Five Guys

Very clean and up to date establishment. Staff was very nice and helpful through the entire process. Got a cheeseburger with an assortment of veggies. Meat was cooked well and veggies were crisp as you would expect at a 5 star restaurant. Got a medium fry…But they gave me a large if you include the in the bag fries. Would go there again!

I ordered here for the first time at this location last week. The food was fresh , the restaurant was very very clean and was busy . I walked straight in they took my order right away. Greeted me with a smile 😊( always a bonus ) and said welcome to 5guys . All of the gentlemen were so nice and welcoming. The food was good but the customer service I received was even better. They were getting people in and out and it was for sure lunch time .

Unfortunately, this visit was not so great. 😕 Let's be real; five guys' burgers are delicious and a bit of a splurge, at least for our family. Placed a mobile order, which inevitably every time we still have to wait beyond the time it's suppose to be ready, which I've concluded is in their efforts for their food to always be freshly hot. Okay. So I checked in at the front, and she hollered my check-in to the crew working fries and burgers behind her. I make my way right to the pick-up counter and watch and wait for my order. I continue to watch and wait. I'm patient, so I continue to wait. People coming and going, employees working steady filling orders. I acknowledge that I don't know where my order falls into the queue. So, I continue to wait. 25 minutes pass, and now my facial expressions say it all! The fry guy, who has noticed me the entire time, asks for my order and gets to looking. It turns out it's this brown bag order that's been sitting on top of the fry hood since before I walked in, as I myself even noticed it right away! So I get a "I'm sorry" and now have to wait on hot fries to be made and put in my bag of 30+ minute old burgers! Just a total oversight on their part, resulting in poor customer service.

I love Five Guys Bacon Dogs. Always have. But I ordered two today and drove to my hotel room which was across the street. (Eat in at the store was NOT an option). I have to say these were nowhere near what I have experienced with Five Guys over the years with the dogs. While they looked good the taste was off putting and I cannot explain it. This is the first time ever that I did not wolf down and finish two Bacon Dogs. And Five Guys. Please buy some buns that are held together vs these that are separated. I assume you have some reason but I cannot think of a good reason. These were a let down Five Guys Maumee.
