Some artists write songs that become anthems .. this restaurant follows in those footsteps .. you live the restaurant with a memory .. the menu, the great cuisine and flavors, and of course the hospitality. Classy yet friendly waitress. The inside is beautiful aged and humble but with class. Try it , this place leaves you with great memories. The chef took us on a journey with the wild mushroom soup with truffle oil, escargot, roasted Brussels sprouts followed by arugula salad and a cabbage salad served warm ... penne pasta with sizzled shrimp , and tenderloin ... and the finale was a selection of deserts that felt like everything is going to be okay. So glad we were able to get a reservation, the heated patio is cozy and allows for privacy with that special company. This is Matthews .. I regret not trying this before, but will definitely visit again. Well done chef and team !

My wife and I were very excited to try this restaurant out but we were very disappointed. Poor communication as we were never told during the reservation that we would be seated in the patio. The patio was freezing, leaking, and junky. Not a good atmosphere or setting at all.for Valentines Day. We kept our hopes up that the food would make up for the poor setting but the food was nothing special as well. It was okay. We’ve tried many, many French Restaurants and this was the first time everything lacked flavor. It was kind of bland and just okay. Maybe it was an off night for them but definitely not a great experience here.

We first came to Santé for Charlotte Restaurant Week a couple years ago & enjoyed it, but we fell back into the routine of our usual favorite dining spots. My wife decided we should go again, and it was an excellent decision. Of course, my wife always makes smart decisions. 😁😉 Her filet was perfectly cooked at medium rare, while my penne with prosciutto & shrimp was also marvelous. I personally think my choice of the Lemon Raspberry Napoleon was better than her Chocolate thingamajig (no, that’s obviously not what they called it), but she thought the opposite. At any rate, we were both quite satisfied. Wonderful service, an intimate atmosphere, excellent wine, all combined equaled a lovely dining experience with my better half.

Very nice. The menu has locally sourced ingredients and is simple and excellent. Crazy, my favorite things were the beets and carrots. Duck was good - escargot and fried green tomatoes appetizers were great. You roll with the punches during the pandemic - seemed the waiter was serving the entire restaurant- inside and out. He hustled and did well.
