Most days customer service is great, however this one particular day customer service was bad. The drive thru cashier was very impolite. I asked for honey for my tea. I have never had a problem with my orders. Maybe she had a personal problem, maybe she didn't want to come to work. But if she's there I'd rather take my business elsewhere. Otherwise, this is a great location.

I come to this Starbucks quite a bit and everyone is sooo friendly and nice! Usually I go through the drive through but I just was ready to get my drink due to how long the line was and I just wasn’t having a good (mental health) day. So I go in and didn’t realize I forgot my mask which I am vaccinated I have ALL of my vaccination shots so I’m not a individual who’s inconsiderate about this pandemic I ALWAYS wear my mask but I truly forgot due to just the day I was having it slipped my mind. I don’t know the gentleman’s name but he’s black and has dreads with glasses I think you guys should speak to him I feel it was kinda embarrassing to be kinda shouting out I needed to have a mask on .. this should have been handled more professionally he wasn’t mean or anything but people were looking at me and it was quite embarrassing I legit just walked out and went home and made my tea. I get it you guys have to do your job no issue at all but I would have respected him walking up to me and letting me know 1 on 1 instead of him shouting that to me while I’m in line super unprofessional.😭 Thank you guys for your service and your good upkeep when it comes to Covid it shows you guys do care about the well being Of others ❤️

I hate to do this but because I love Starbucks and I want to support businesses in the Matteson area but every time I come this location I have the unfortunate experience of having to deal with this same woman, Paige! She has THE most foul and disgusting attitude! A very nice young lady forgot to add an additional ingredient to my order. I noticed it politely pointed it out to Paige the barista. She proceeded to tell that “I would need to speak up” if I wanted her to hear me then turned her back on me. I spoke up and told her my order was missing an ingredient. She told me there was going to be an up charge and I was fine with that but when I went to ring out and take my new order she looks at me and proceeds to bark at me that “I can go throw the old order away!” I mean it’s just a consistency of unexplainable rudeness! I really wish that this location could do a better job vetting their employees instead of hiring miserable people. It’s a shame because the rest of the staff seems pleasant but PAIGE is a nasty human who needs to find a job doing whatever really makes her happy instead of working at a place that is known for their upbeat and pleasant staff! On top of that she always puts her dirty hands over the mouth pieces of the drinks she makes! Just gross!

Every time I go there, I get the nastiest attitude from Mia. She seems very unhappy to work and very brief and dismissive towards customers, especially whites and foreigners. This I have witnessed several times. I asked for a cup holder and extra caramel for my mobile orders and she first ignored me then after I asked the 5th time, she raised her voice at me, telling me "YOU HAVE TO WAIT." During this time, it wasn't even busy. I waited for 15 minutes while she laughed and talked to her other co-worker who was very loud and obnoxious with jokes and finally she did it but with no apology for me having to wait long. If you want to keep people happy with this Starbucks, then she should be fired. That girl has a very nasty spirit and doesn't honor customer service!

This location always looks busy no matter the time of day. If I want to stop, I usually plan extra time due to the volume of orders they handle. I have never had an incorrect order before. Today I was so impressed by the teamwork I saw behind the counter mixed with the starbucks app glitch situation that they resolved, I had to stop and share because I highly recommend the excellent customer service the staff at this location displays. The app took my order and money but never printed a ticket for the barista so while I waited over 20mins I overserved how well all the baristas welcomed each guest, handled the constant flow of traffic, and all with a smile on their face. They were quick to resolve the issue and I was very happy with the service I received. Finally everything looked very clean and organized.

The service was great. However, the icee caramel macchiato I purchased tasted terrible. I couldn’t even finish it and I wish I could get my money back. And for it to be I d there were only a few I’ve cubes floating around so my drink was pretty much room temperature.

I do not go to Starbucks often, but was really excited to treat myself on saturday. Every time I go to starbucks, they usually have some seasonal latte or specialty latte advertised. This time, I did not see any listing of flavors. I asked the girl at the drive-thru what flavors there were, she responded "lots" and seemed very annoyed. I asked if she had any specialties, she said no. I asked if she could tell me what flavors they had, and she told me whatever is listed is what they have. Again, they did not have anything listed on the menu outsideand I had already told her this. So I just asked for a caramel latte, when I pulled up at the drive-thru window, she was standing behind the cashier, arms crossed, staring at me. I bit my tongue but really wanted to tell her about herself. After reading the other reviews for this location, I suspect we are all talking about the same young girl who works the drive-thru. If she is not happy at her job, she should not be in customer service. I'll go to the Starbucks down the street instead.
