Under The Arch Restaurant

Staying at Turkey Run State Park and went kayaking. Worked up an appetite so decided to google restaurants to go to. Found this little gem in Marshall Indiana. Super cute and quaint. It’s filled wall to wall with antiques and unique features. It really takes you back in time. I had the Philly cheesesteak which was phenomenal!! I have never had one like this one before and I have eaten a lot of them. It was more like roast or pulled beef. The arch burger was good, I’m just not a fan of bbq sauce. Our server Lexi was so cute and sweet. So if you’re looking for a cute little place to eat it’s worth the drive into Marshall.

It is definitely a cute little place to visit in a very small town. Their chicken is on the Indiana fried chicken tour (I think there are 12 restaurants that share in this honor). The breading is flavored nicely and adds to the reason they are on the tour. Salad and chili were included in our meal and both were good and tasty. I would recommend the corn fritters as an appetizer, although I wish the butter that comes with it wasn't so hard. I was disappointed in mashed potatoes (not for sure, but tasted like they may have been instant). On your way out you have the option of purchasing fudge. I didn't purchase or try any, but that doesn't mean I didn't want to try some. :) It all looked good.
