Chicken Connection

The main lady has o customer skills! Always greeted with a rude look and 0 hellos. The chicken has become sub-par since new owners took over, the potatoes wedges are trash!! They have no taste and are soft! Who wants soft potatoes wedges! The chicken pieces are tiny with alittle bit of taste, I recommend going to hyvee where they actually care about the chicken and not the cost to themselves!

Excellent ambiance of a small town and old fashioned cafe. Amazing friend chicken that isn’t too spicy, but extremely juicy. The broasted potatoes were even better, my only regret was not getting a larger sour cream. The staff was super friendly and hard working. The open kitchen could tell everything was homemade. The Chicken Connection is well worth stopping by.

Not sure why I waited so long to give them a well deserved 5 star review! It's my family's favorite place to eat. We've been coming here for over 20 years. We moved over an hour away years ago and still make numerous trips back every year to say hi to the great staff and eat at our favorite restaurant! They've been doing it too long not to be the best! Everything tastes great, the beans, potatoes and chicken are the best I've had. I hear their coleslaw is great too - I'm more of a beans and potato guy. Try it - you'll love it!

If you don't know the little yellow house on Main Street, you should! We visit Marshall fairly often and just found Chicken Connection today . . . and so glad we did! WOW! The chicken is THE BEST around. The potato wedges with the sour cream dip!!! What an awesome side treat!!! I've found my new 'go-to' when I'm in Marshall! Great food. Generous portions. Friendly service! (The kind lady at the window even provided directions to a nearby park so we could sit down and enjoy our food! "Thank You!") I can't wait till next time!
