Applebee's

Nice location right off the road. Staff was very friendly and food was good. Location has been clean each time we stop there. Seems hard to get utensils without having to ask for them and the servers are not always attentive so you will be without a refill in spots. When the servers are alerted you have a need they are super helpful. Decent place if you are on the road.

My husband and I visited for dinner last Tuesday evening. The restaurant was not crowded at all. We were promptly seated and given menus, but a waitstaff never approached us to take our order. We gave them at least 20 minutes and watched at least two young waiters serve other tables, but completely ignored us. We left and went to Chili's and received excellent service there.

The water was off due to boil order. It was understandably not their fault for boil order, but service was real slow and waited 15 minutes to get menu and another 30 to get food. It was not crowded so no excuse for terrible service. Served on paper plates not big enough for the entree ordered. Used plastic silverware and drinks out of can. I won’t be back to any Applebees after this travesty. First restaurant I’ve ever not tipped generously!! Had to give a one star but that’s too many.

Our waitress was wonderful. Food not so much. I asked for medium well, was served still mooing. Sent it back they put same streak back on the grill and cooked to medium but had added so much salt to it I literally gagged and my eyes watered on one bite. The back of my tongue burned for hours. I am a person that likes salt and probably too much salt so if it gagged me... I gave up and asked to have it removed from our bill. The queso we ordered was so strong with raw onion (yes folks raw onion in queso) we had to send it back The waffle fries that was supposed to be smothered in beer cheese had only about a tablespoon of cheese on it. You guessed it sent back! The chicken was really good. So out of 3 people at least one of us had dinner. Footnote: that wonderful waitress we had confessed to us she was leaving this week to work at another restaurant.

I had to call the waitress 2 times because the cup she gave me was dirty. The first time it had something green stuck on the inside of the cup and then the next time it was brown and dingy in the inside. You could see the streaks between where it was dirty and clean. Then my husband had ordered the Four Cheese Mac with the Honey pepper chicken tenders and it was extremely soupy and too sweet. It almost seemed as if it was seasoned with just honey and water. Then to end it all off whenever we asked for military discount they said that 10% of $45.10 was only $1.60. I felt completely robbed at this place. Will not be coming here again.
