We had been to the Bella Sera in Spring Branch and were surprised to learn they didn't have a liquor license inspite of getting coupons advertising a free glass of wine with the meal. But, this Bella Sera clearly does have a liquor license. Love the decor and the food was great. I ordered the lobster ravioli which was amazing. The lobster was in the sauce not inside the ravioli which is different but it was still delicious.

Wait time: Arrived here around 1230pm on a Sunday. We were seated (with a party of 14) in about 20 minutes.
Food: My party of 3 ordered the lunch special: Spaghetti w Meatballs ($8.50 for the kiddo), Pasta Sampler, and Baked Ziti ($8.99 each). Adult meals came with a house salad and the whole table is served with endless breads. Food tasted great, good portion sizes, and reasonably priced for lunch.
Staff was friendly and attentive. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean. True to Italian culture this was more of a laid back style and we were able to sit back and relax and enjoy a leisurely lunch with friends.

Some of the best Italian cuisine we have had. The food was served fast. Nice atmosphere and great dessert selection as well. Highly recommend this place if you’re in town!

We had a wedding party of 21 arrive at 7pm on a Sunday evening and our waiter didn't miss a beat. The food was hot, arrived at pretty much the same time given the size of the party, tasted great, and the service was on point.

Just ok.
I've eaten here several times and never seem to walk away feeling satisfied. Something about the flavors is just off and barely scratches the "Italian food itch." I can't really put my finger on it other than that.
A more specific critique is that the pasta dishes are swimming in sauce... so much so that it feels like digging around through soup to find the pasta. Please dial the amount of sauce back.
The menu is overwhelmingly large... which can be a good or bad thing depending on who you ask but I personally find it difficult to make a selection because there are too many options.
All in all, it's fine. Don't expect to be wowed but it's not exactly a let-down either.

This was very bad. My chicken looked boiled instead of grilled for my Alfredo., Plus the sauce had no flavor and no cheese. My meal was almost $20. The lettuce was rotten from my salad. The chicken piccatta had no sauce and no flavor and the chicken was the same boiled like texture/tasteless. Also 17.99. this place was pricey for how bad it was. Would not recommend.

Decent food but they are outrageously overpriced for the quality.. got a $18 entree and my chicken was old and hard. For 2 entrees and 1 appetizer was $64!! For me to get a Caesar salad that came with my entree I got charged $5 to “upgrade” the salad.

We came here for a special occasion and the food was outstanding! Our server seemed pretty timid, but he was still courteous. Well, the calamari is much, much different than the calamari I've had at other restaurants. It's pretty dry so it wasn't that great, but the shrimp scampi definitely made up for it.
I will say, the front door creaks like crazy! And goodness, the bathroom doors really need to be repositioned so they open out not in. There's barely enough room to get in and out. I did enjoy myself though so I'm looking forward to visiting again.
