Mod Pizza

We waited in line for almost 20 minutes even though there was only one group of 3 customers ahead of us, we waited patiently. The girl taking the orders was SO slow, but no stress. We get to the counter, she asks if we could wait a second and continues doing meaningless tasks that could have been done after taking our order; there was no one behind us. We proceed to place an order for 6 pizzas, then we're informed that even though the Authoritarian "vax papers" order was dropping in a week we have to take our pizzas and eat outside in 35° temperature, with our 3 children. No sign on the door, no informing us before taking our order, she informed us on the way to the register. No thanks, we're taking our business elsewhere. We weren't rude about it, we just said "Cancel our order please, we're going to go elsewhere. Thanks." Then she proceeds to tell us that we should probably eat in Pierce County if we would like to eat indoors. There are plenty of places in Maple Valley that won't force children to eat in the cold after dropping $90 at their establishment; we know there are, we eat out often; they deserve our money not MOD. I used to love eating at this place, but I just can't do it anymore. With the whole "show your Vaccination papers" discrimination I can't support this restaurant any longer. I refuse to even get take out from a restaurant that enforces the Authoritarians stance that a segment of society are second class citizens.

Not much has changed at this place although the new cauliflower crust is very good. The thing that is just killing me every time I go here is how they still put online orders above importance of people in the store waiting in line. even if there was always only one employee dedicated to walk ins it would be better than now.

The pizza which i ordered was the thicker crust. It was not cooked in the center and unfortunately I ate some of the pizza. This is the first time that this has happened at this location. I know mistakes happen but I request you to kindly give more importance to food safety. There may be people ordering at the restaurant who dont have well functioning immune systems. Improperly cooked can cause infections in people that dont affect the general population. Please be more considerate and careful. It may just take a few minutes for you to inspect if it has been properly cooked.

According to the manager at Mod Pizza, They have a portion policy now and it’s enforced by the company. So the salad size is half but the price stayed the same. Isn’t lettuce the cheapest ingredient anyway????? It’s a little hard to take a manager serious when I just watched her blow her vape smoke as she walked back in the door today anyway!

Quality pizza is served with great service. It's Subway brand for Pizzas in short. You are able to choose the toppings you want and they add in front of you and throws in the Oven. Prices are not bad either, they are affordable for the size of the pizzas and quality of ingredients. We loved the service and environment but only wishes if they had comfortable chairs to fully enjoy the meal. Parking is not an issue either since this branch is located in the plaza. I will definetely recommend this place to customers belongs to any generation.

I've been to this particular location once before with no issues, however this time when I went it wasn't a good experience. I ordered a mega dough with red sauce, mozzarella, basil, garlic, bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes. It was the thinnest mega dough I've ever had and it was burnt on bottom. Surprisingly, the guy that made it DID place the toppings on pretty evenly, which doesn't usually happen at any Mod location because they're always in such a hurry. I doubt that I'll return to this particular location in the future.
