Jenn's Java

They have wonderful cakes and bakery here. Ambiance inside is nice. They have a nice drink menu. Lots of options for food too. Staff is friendly. I’ve only had one issue, Multiple times I have been in here and the owners have “shushed” me and were not very nice about it. Did not feel like I was being loud in comparison with other patrons at the time. I was socializing with friends that I had brought along. Nothing anywhere that states people have to be quiet. In fact there are board games as well that would require people to be talking.

Great place! The staff are all very friendly. They have really good homemade bakery ranging from decorated cookies to slices of cake you can buy while you enjoy your coffee. I love to go here to hangout with friends and play board games. They have a variety of free games you can play while your there, which is always fun. My favorite drink is the Chillers.

Excellent sandwich! You know when your eating something and suddenly you hear your self going nom nom nom.... omg I love this sandwich and I will be returning for sure. The open face melted tuna on gluten free bread is so amazing. Also the pumpkin latte was great too. Super cute coffee shop. Had some sute gift ideas as well. Gluten free sweet treats and lots of regular treats to choose from as well.

High quality local coffee shop. Their coffee itself is superb (saying as someone who isn't really a connoisseur in coffee), and they often have both a large variety of baked goods and some sort of promotional gimmicky item or coffee flavor. As a consequence of that last point, I have also gotten the best cup of chili I've ever had in the Manitowoc area from Jenn's (Though they stopped serving it a while ago. Perhaps next winter?)

What a cute coffee shop! I was so surprised to find a place like this in a small town. I had their matcha frappe. It was good but definitely different then Starbucks’s version. They also have a lot of baked goods and desserts. The place is spacious and perfect for a low key hangout. I met up with a client here and it was perfect.

Jenn's is my home away from home and "office," especially since semi-retiring four months ago. It has become my weekday (and often weekend) morning ritual. Morning coffee whilst working for a couple hours. Why? Plenty of seating. Free high speed wifi. Fantastic, friendly vibe with attentive baristas (including the married owners), great menu with everything coffee-related you would expect, but also with a plethora of Jenn's famous bakery items. The soft background music is typically classic rock during the weekday mornings, newer pop other times. I particularly like the location of Jenn's in that it sits across the street from Manitowoc's Washington Park. The huge front windows provide an awesome view of the park. If you want quiet, there's a rear party-room with several takes and media capabilities. Room can be reserved for meetings or parties. Jenn's is a community gathering place. I always see people I know and often run into work acquaintances whom I haven't seen in years. Jenn's is a local Lakeshore treasure!
