Michael's Frozen Custard

We stopped her because of the name, (my hubby is a Michael 🙂) so gkad we gave it a try. If we lived in the area I think it would be our new regular spot for treats! Great service, awesome selection, awesome custard!!! Indoor and outdoor seating, drive thru, clean bathrooms. In warmer weather they have windows to searve at, they were closed today, we had to go inside to order. The custard was great! We'll be back next time we are in the area.

We've been going to Michael's for years. They have the best frozen custard in town but they're more expensive than Culver's. I love the turtle sundae but they no longer have the hot lava sundae (another favorite). Their food is good too. The drive thru is really convenient. The indoor dining area is small but they have a big outdoor seating area when the weather is nice.

Went there for food. They informed me they do not serve food anymore. Ok, well let's at least get some cold treats. Ended up paying $20 for two "Twisties" which were good, but not nearly good enough to justify the price. The place was deserted and dilapidated, while the golf place right across the street was absolutely packed with people. Employee was nice enough, but didn't really feel like a premium experience at all. They also put the pressure on you at the end of the transaction to tip and watch what you select which just feels gross. I enjoyed it, but I will probably never go back. Can not recommend.

Best place!! The hamburgers are amazing. Love their onion rings. Amazing custard with so many flavors to choose from and options for mixers and sundaes. Now it's my #1 go to for coffee in the morning. They use local Blue Crown Coffee. They also have fresh homemade baked goods for a morning treat and an amazing breakfast sandwich if you're on the run. Must stop in. No more Starbucks for me. I love that this is local, using local products.
