Panera Bread

Food was pretty good and quick to come out, but nothing else what great. The bread was just thrown in the bag. Their online ordering system wasn't working with the gift card I tried. I called and it rang until the call disconnected or they hung up. This was during their less busy time (the automated system said the busy time was 6p-7p. It was cheaper for the exact same order inside as I had entered online. They didn't tell me they were out of avocado when I went in so thankfully I knew from it telling me online. It would have been nice if they asked if I needed plastic utensils instead of just giving them to me.

This was my first time visiting this venue. The French onion soup was delicious and the Chai Tea Latte also good. Of course the bread was what it should be as per having bread in their name. The barbecue chicken is NOT a fully bbqued chicken but rather a drizzle of sauce, legitimately as pictured on their menu. If your expectations are to have a form of fully bbqued chicken sandwich, this is not the place for that just a FYI. I had to ask for a table to be cleaned off for the two of us and they forgot to move the Latte to my self serve area so I could have it too. Overall dissatisfied with the service on the inside for on my lunch date with my wife. Guess it's not my cup of tea, pun intended!

Yea panera. Place is always rocking. Cashier was short, not in stature, but in her patience with us. Can you say Grumpy! Coffee was hot and good. Table was a mess and floors lookednlike not swept in hours. But was because everyone had to clean off their own table and brush onto floor. But hey it is Panera and the food is good.

I’m leaving this review specifically for Patrick!!! I’ve lived in Madison my whole life and he was the nicest, most helpful employee I’ve met at Panera yet. Even as I sat eating my food and it was past close he was so kind to everyone and let me know I didn’t need to rush and can take my time. I really appreciate his attitude, going above and beyond in the small things. If we had more people like Patrick in the world it’d be so much more delightful! Thank you again Patrick, God Bless :)
