Flower Pot, Macclesfield

Went on a Saturday afternoon with 10 people for a nice family meal at 5pm. Service was amazing with loads of staff on in a very busy, large pub. Great atmosphere with a mix of eaters and drinkers. Lovely decor and modern pub vibe. Food was good with a large menu selection. Portions also a good size. I would say the flower pot is at the higher end of pub food in terms of cost and most of my party were very happy with their meal but some of my table were "so so" therefore only 4 stars for food. Kids meals were good and one young waitress got my toddler daughter some warm milk!! Amazing. Good car parking and left mine overnight. Really good beer also and thr manager also introduced himself, he was really professional and sought honest feedback. Recommended. Good proper pub.

Me and my partner came for our anniversary meal, the food was lovely, the pub is very clean! All the staff are friendly and welcoming but need to give a special mention to Beth, who was bubbly and chatty (but not encroaching) and made us feel like we were her only table/customers for the night, very attentive and reactive to his requests 🙄. Highly recommend a visit if you are in Macclesfield, a credit to the town as much as Beth is to this pub, what a star, keep up the good work!

Came in on a Sunday with a very large party for my sons 1st birthday. We caused a lot of hassle to the staff with forgetting to order & numbers etc. an email was missed by head office about some pre ordered meals. The staff handled it perfectly, so friendly and very welcoming. Nothing was a hassle. Can not state enough how enjoyable the day was & can not praise the staff enough. Will be be back again. Highly recommend this pub for food or drinks.

Food and drink was excellent and the waiters/waitresses were very nice. One thing i think they could improve is adding table numbers. After we had finished our meal a waiter walked to our table with food in hand and asked if we had ordered it, we said that we did not order the food, so he left the table and proceed to go to multiple different tables asking if they had ordered the food. Eventually they found the table. I think this could have been avoided with a simple table number system.
