Cellar Restaurant

Cellar has been quite an amazing experience with the cuisines of the world. The aura indeed reminded of Italy with the semicircular arches and green climbers all over the place. Since there is a ‘no parking zone’ around the restaurant and the cars have to be parked in the underground parking across the street for INR 60 at least. It has definitely been fun, this restaurant is a great recommendation when you are looking for a multi cuisine place in the area of Mahanagar, city of Lucknow.

The Cellar is a wonderful place in Lucknow. We have been here since more than a decade for sure - and often on special occasions. Perhaps one of the first fine dining places in Lucknow where close to authentic Italian food was served and still maintains the charm. Food is amazing, whether it is risotto (it was not there this time though when we visited), lasagne, garlic bread with cheese, layers of cheese filled with chicken and vegetables, cream of chicken soup etc. - all great - thank you Chefs of The Cellar (it is part of RITZ group - an iconic food chain in Lucknow). Few recommendations The Cellar: "Times are changing" - and please DO NOT IGNORE very important needs such as having toilets or making your restaurant ACCESSIBLE to those who may not prefer or are comfortable with staircases. Toilet in the restaurant above (lots of stairs) makes it very difficult for those who are not comfortable with stairs due to range of reasons. Also, restaurant is in basement so stairs again - please please please. I hope our request will not fall on deaf ears - and groups like Ritz will LEAD FROM THE FRONT on making all their facilities ACCESSIBLE to everyone.

This place serves the best Italian food in Lucknow, which is even better than most of the restaurants in cities like Delhi, Gurgaon and Mumbai. One must visit this place at least once. We went there for dinner and the food was so tasty that we overate. We ordered American chicken wings, Supremo pizza, Lasagne chicken, Chicken sizzler, Strawberry mojito, Chocolate cookies shake and Very berry shake. Each item was amazing in taste and better than the previous dish we were ordering. Service was very good and the waiter served all the dishes on our plates on our request. All staff members were very humble. Ambience was also good and there was ample sitting space for a large gathering. Even after ordering so many items from the menu the bill was only ₹2700. Overall it was a good experience and it was worth visiting there. If you love italian food then I would recommend that you should definitely visit there.

The best authentic Italian cuisine you can get anywhere in Lucknow. The interior and aesthetic is just amazing. There's no loud music and it's pretty peaceful. The food is good too. The chicken ravioli is brilliant. The barbecue chicken pizza didn't really work out. The lasgna was cheesy, but the quantity was a bit underwhelming. The apple pie too was pretty small for the price, but the taste was amazing. Overall a good experience.

Situated in basement, the CELLAR is one of the very few places where you can get authentic Italian food. The ambience and decor of place is understated, not flashy but elegant and stylist, giving you a feeling of calm from all the hustle and bustle in city. The food is delicious 😋. If you happen to visit this place veg lasagna is a must have along with garlic bread. Also nachos is excellent. In dessert Apple pie 🥧 is recommended. Perfect for family dinner/date.
