Chop Chop

First time experience, was looking for something different. Ordered the pick 3 meat (chicken,beef,shrimp) original with fried rice( rate 3 out of 5). Pick 2 meat with (chicken, steak) teriyaki style with fried rice. I personally did not like the teriyaki pineapple style. Pineapples did not taste fresh rate it 2 out of 5. Steak meat was my fav in both dishes. I would pick original style over teriyaki style.

I think the service was fine no complaints at all on that, but the food was so salty! The soup was dark almost black and tasted like soy sauce. We ordered 4 bowls and only my son ate his. The udon noodles are good and a good texture. The meat on my dish just tasted like salt. I wish I had asked for steamed rice to balance it out. The zucchini was way undercooked, but I like that it was made to order since I don’t like onions! Definitely a great concept of fast hibachi style food but it doesn’t taste that great at all, but it could if they backed off the soy and salt.

Very clean inside. The menu is hard to read. The font is so small and its not even near the order counter. And when I was struggling to order the lady just stared at me and didn't offer any suggestions or any kind of assistance. The food was SALTY. Not like the good kind of seasoned food, the kind where it's too much. The veggies are definitely not fresh (at least the fried rice veg) and the pineapples were CANNED. Not the worst I've ever had but it was so MEH. I had high hopes. The pictures in store on the walls and online DO NOT match what you get served. And also, no dumplings?! 😒

Said "have a blessed day" to the cashier lady, no response. Food was received quickly and there were no problems before that, but I have 0 tolerance anymore for purposely bad service. I've worked lots of food service. I get being tired or grumpy. You do not burn bridges with your customers. No excuse, never coming back and I used to be a regular. Will also tell others to avoid this Chop Chop, and tell them to tell even more people. Edit: Owner responded, it was definitely the intention of the employee, she heard me. It was intentional.

Very rude customer service from Simion Cantu! Don’t know the guy but the floods of messages have told me how he treats people. Why invest in an employee who is clearly unhappy at his job. Closed the window in my face because I asked him for a few lemon slices. Total total rude employee. I can’t believe I was treated like this! My food was thrown into the bag among other things!!!
