6 of us dropped in for a drink after the cinema at 22.05 today . Totally deserted except for one customer at the bar. Waited over 5 minutes before the customer offered to find the bar staff. Empty glasses on bar and tables so obviously work to do but no staff. Young lady eventually appeared and promptly said we've finished serving. No apology. I am amazed bars can afford to turn away 6 customers let alone without an apology. Also strange on 2nd July to read Christmas menus displayed around the walls. No idea if these are very early for this year or left up from last year? I've worked in hospitality much of my life and the golden rule is 'never turn away a paying customer'
Unfortunately a no stars review wasn't an option. Very disappointing.

I went in here on Friday evening sat next to the open window it was hot and sunny. Sat on a comfy sofa lovely cold lager reasonable prices. .near the seafront a fantastic disco going back again this weekend.

Used to be a great place, before it went downhill. Sticky floors and pretty empty most of the time. Lovely dj, could do with playing better music though.
Drinks are cheap and 241 in a Friday.

Been going here since it started, seems since adjoining iconic opened place has been a bit neglected, carpets need renewing, seating in need of change, this place used to be immaculate. Drinks good price, food good.

Good food and and good priced drinks, but it is normally adults only, they have live music and other things at the weekend, also a happy hour on weekdays from 11, where the pints are even cheaper!

Came in for my hen night last year. Very loud full of louts, bouncers were nice. No atmosphere inside just a lot of noise and gyrating. 😅

It's ok if you love loud music but I do like to talk to others whilst drinking which I couldn't do. Drinks were cheap though

Popped in on a Monday evening for a bite to eat,,, totally enjoyed me choice, fish n chips,,, and a quick pint,, WOW
