I have only had one experience at Bootie so far, but I literally danced to some amazing mash-ups for about 5 hours straight. When it was all over, I was asking for more! The main floor is where the big party is. If you really want to cut a rug, I would suggest dancing on the stage at the front of the dance floor. Conversely, you could dance at your own pace down on the main floor. Either are good!

First time at this venue and was kind of surprise about it because I'm use to just go there after the nightclubs close and what can it be? 6 years ago since I visit that place and funny thing is first time I was sober and went there haha. However, fast to getting in and the service and bar wasn't bad. Only reason I went here was because it was my friends birthday and it was live band we checked it out. The drink was average price like most of the venues so nothing to complain about accept a great time! So you looking for chill place on a monday this is place to go but not to bring a date

I was in LA, on a first date. He saw the sign in the window that said Cajun food: his favorite. I was hesitant, but wanted to seem more adventurous than I am so I agreed. The door was dingy and I couldn't see through the heavily tinted windows. I assumed it would be a little shop with a couple tables and chairs, kinda like a deli. What I stepped into was another world. The front door opens up to an opulent bar. The most beautiful bar I have ever been in. It looks like a movie set. Then past the bar there is a long winding hallway that leads to the restaurant.

This place was SO MUCH FUN. At first I wasn't sure about the mash-ups but once I got used to it I fell in love. This place does need better ventilation though considering they pack in a billion people who end up sweating balls for hours on end. I wasn't too sure about the "burlesque show" that went on the night I was there. I am all for a good show and as a straight women I can really appreciate a girl that has the guts to go up on stage and show her goodies and bits but it just felt really low class and creepy. I watched for a few minutes and then it became painful so I ventured into the top room where there was more electronic music playing and many cool people to dance around with. I would definitely come back to Bootie next time I am in SF!
