Subway

@ 1625: It's very busy at this time. Currently understaffed, and only one side is open. There are 12 people in line and it seems that the staff is overworked but friendly. The chips are low, the floor is clean and so are the tables. The time that it took for the sandwich was less than 5 mins. Overall a decent experience.

Expect it to be very crowded around lunch hour. It is as good as any subway gets. The employees are efficient and get the job done. May be tricky to find a table during the rush hour but otherwise good. Oh, beware of the Scientology people ambushing you as you leave the place. They are always lurking around there. So annoying!

I have monthly follow-up's at the bone marrow transplant unit on the 8th floor of the Kaiser Permanente on 1515 Vermont Ave., due to my 2 bone marrow (aka stem cell) transplants at City of Hope 5/2009 & 4/2010. In order to beat traffic & find a good parking spot, I make the first appointment of the day with the available doctor & leave the house early. I've often visited this Subway, located conveniently located across the street, for a healthy breakfast while waiting for my appointment time to arrive. Chains are chains, and this one is no different. The positives are that the staff have been courteous & the service prompt everytime I've been here. Probably the best of all - it's open 24 hours! I can have a foot-long BLT anytime my heart desires. Dining area has been clean, with seating being ample. Next time you're in the area & you're hankering for a sandwich, stop by this Subway for a quick bite. Recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOM

Minutes away from the metro red line, THIS IS the place to eat the east coast original! (all the other subways eat your heart out!!!😀😀), plenty of seating, his and hers bathroom, super clean, employees are fast and courteous, great location cornered by major hospitals ( Kaiser, H.P.M.C. and children's) or church of Scientology's headquarters are a block over. Dine here and you might see L.Ron Hubbard (vision)after being treated at the local trauma center.

There are out of straws they were out of food and they sat there in charge me a full price for a sandwich when it have what I wanted on it and the person that was there was rude to my wife and chased me out the restaurant Because I through the sandwich at the window because I got mad to protect my wife so I give this a one star pad place to go don't ever go there plus there's too many homeless people staying there
