Shish Mediterranean

It's a small halal place. We went there for early dinner on a working day around 5ish. The place wasn't that busy on that time. Server was nice and service was fast. We ordered, two platters, chicken kebab platter and beef gyro platter, one chicken kebab bowl and one Istanbul wrap. Portion was huge and reasonably priced. Food was very good, meat was tender and flavorful and we loved it. Only thing I could complain about is the sticky rice, to my personal choice it was too bland/lack of seasoning and only boiled rice; with proper seasoning it could be in different level. Just a suggestion to the management. Definitely worth a try!

Hands down, best Mediterranean food I've ever had! The food was SUPER FRESH, perfectly cooked, and delicious! My ONLY critique is that the 'fresh outta high school' cashier could have provided service with a little more enthusiasm or at least a smile. For food that's this amazing, you couldn't tell by her attitude. I get she's probably only making minimum wage, but when you work for a restaurant with food like this, ya gotta follow thru with superior service. She doesn't realize how amazing the food made outta that kitchen right behind her must be. It's too bad.

I was in la for a business meeting and found this place near me for lunch so I decided to check it out. I ordered a chicken kabob platter. The food tasted great!! The platter was a good combination of carbs (rice and salad), salad, sauce (garlic) and generous portion of protein (three chicken kabobs!!!). I could tell it was very fresh. Rice were fluffy and freshly cooked. They were the basmati kind not the thick sticky ones so I was very pleased! Their hummus which came with the platter was also very delicious. Much better than most places. Service was exceptional. I was greeted by a sweet lady who answered all my questions. I got my food in under ten mins which was amazing. The ambience of the place was clean, welcoming and spacious. The place is not crammed with tables and chairs like other places you see at. They had the ac running and the temperature was just perfect. I had a very good experience. Highly recommend!
