Pitfire Pizza Company

Pitfire Pizza is a solid, sound and wise choice for quality Wood Fire Oven Pizza. They have a great staff, the Hostess and the Pizza Makers have been gracious to me and my company on two occasions. This is a place that does it right and understands being the full package with good customer service skills, high quality product, enjoyable dining atmosphere and general positive vibe. I am a Pizza Elitist (see how brutal some of my other reviews are) and I respect Pitfire Pizza. They simply do it right and there is nothing to criticize which is rare for me. Other Pizzas in the area of being good at Jon & Vinny’s and Pizzana for example. Hardly anyone in LA is in that bracket. Pitfire deserves lots of success and positivity. If you love Pizza, respect Pitfire today. Pizza Devotees must make pilgrimage. If you’re in LA/ nearby. Don’t go on a long drive for this though.

Pitfire Pizza is a really good pizza place with great service and a nice atmosphere. You order at the counter and your pizza is brought to you, it takes about 15 minutes from ordering to bake your pie. There are a good number of vegetarian options and the Classic Margherita Pizza was my favorite! The Field Mushroom pizza is good, but seemed like it was missing something. The Burrata pizza was well made with fresh Burrata cheese on top. This pizza restaurant is great for groups of 3 or more!

Oh my goodness, I love their pizza so so much! I first time tried this restaurant at Westlake Village location when I stayed at Hyatt Regency about 4 years ago and ordered a Mushroom pizza. It was a bomb! This is the only pizza joint serves pizza with Enoki mushroom and for this reason I was instantly hooked! Unfortunately they closed the Westlake Village location, but I found them again in Westwood yesterday, and ordered a Mushroom pizza with extra Enoki mushroom. It was $18 for a medium size pizza and worth every penny! I’d been a New Yorker for 2 decades and ate the great pizza over there, but nowhere serves Enoki mushroom like Pitfire Artisan! I’ll keep coming back for more mushroom pizza from them! Yummm!!
