Great burritos, had the asada and egg. Update 12/2023 We came back and tried the asada and egg burrito and the cactus and egg. The steak burrito was massive and tasty. The cactus was not as massive but also not greasy and actually seems healthy "ish". The tortillas are soft, fluffy and made with lard, so very classic tortillas.

Best breakfast burritos Update: still amazing burritos. I'm glad they are opening a new location. I didn't add cheese this time (watching my weight) and I still love it. Aqua fresca are good too. Pro tip: I would try to order ahead, wait times can go past 30 minutes. There's a nice coffee shop around the block.

This place is awesome, the only thing is that I would suggest to try and make a phone order. Wait time is usually about 30-40 min. It's not your typical Carne Asada place it has its own little twist but in a great way. The hand made tortillas are the cherry 🍒 ontop. Definitely recommend this place if you enjoy Mexican food. The chille relleno burrito 🌯 is a must try with your choice of protein. I personally enjoy the breakfast burrito 🌯. Potato, beans 🫘 bacon 🥓. Parking can be a bit difficult to find.

My favorite burrito joint that offers vegetarian and vegan options. Nopales (cacti and Eggs) Burrito (with no refried beans) $9 is my favorite!!! For only $9 (normal burrito prices), this place is a steal for their high quality fresh ingredients. I love their handmade tortillas!! The tortilla is very similar in taste and texture to the Taiwanese breakfast egg crepe pancake. Brunch place, closes early 4pm, with breakfast burritos stopped seating around 3pm. Living just blocks away, there's tons of burritos places...they can't compete against this place. Hot sauce is fresh and has a hint of sweetness. I'm a mild spicy sensitive eater, who also doesn't like overly smoky hot sauce. I would consider this medium in spicy levels. There's some bar top seating, sanitizer bottles, and recycling bin. Credit card taken. Tight street parking is very common in this area. To do in the area: If visiting from afar, I highly recommend strolling around to grab some fresh Mexican bakery, tamales and meat produce from local markets and restaurants. It's a small outdoor strolling area. If you come before closing, and looking for an alcoholic drink, Cities is walkable and opens at 4pm Wednesday-Friday with happy hour or there's Luminaries that is a short drive away with happy hour at 4:30pm Wednesday-Friday. Looking forward to trying their Cactus Pico Salad $5 small, and getting Tortillas (Partially-Cooked Homemade Flour Tortillas) $6 to go.

I think this restaurant has a strong following because it provides a lot of comfort in comfort food. I ordered the Chile Rellano burrito with carne asada beef and fried eggs. The Chile rellano is a big pepper stuffed with cheese, then breaded and deep fried. If you are not a cheese or Chile fan, then this burrito is not for you. The tortillas are made fresh daily, so it has an extra bounce that older 2-3 days old tortilla doesn’t have. I also ordered the chicharrones, deep fried pork skin. It was too over fried for my likings, this is where the some pork meat meets the fat and the skin. It became hard and crunchy. Benign an old man with dentures, I prefer my chicharrones less hard. The hot sauce is hot, but it’s full of flavor and character. If you are in town, please try it. Your stomach will thank you later.
